There's some anime that can work as films (Black Lagoon) but because it would have to be rated R and would only attract mostly male action fans, they won't go for it. it's all money money money,

It sucks that todays audiences are too stupid to see movies as an art form and instead just go 'to kill time' and eat all the bullcrap they make and call them ice-cream.

Then again, they already screw up things they could have been good like Transformers. So even Black Lagoon would turn out bad.

You can't cosplay as non-anime characters at an anime convention but video game characters are okay o.O

Thats a bit contradicting XD. I've seen many people cosplay as Harry Potter and Twilight characters at conventions, I see nothing wrong with that.

Anyways... I agree. Have you seen Astro Boy commercials?

I just said the video game thing because some video game characters (like Parappa the Rapper) have their own anime series after the game was created. And no, I haven't seen any Astro Boy commercials.

No, I never saw the Death Note movies. I personally am not a fan of Death Note.

well, the movies still are pretty cool. unless you just plain hate the death note anime, then i would still suggest to check them out.

ps.the american remakes hasent been made, yet. but, i did see just the 2nd one, on the internet, and the live action movie, was voiced over, by the same people who did the english voices for the anime.

but, i dnt get something. light dies in the 2 movie, and theres a 3rd movie, that focusses on just L. really weird.

@OMGTouche there's nothing wrong in dressing as Avatar characters at a convention, but there's plenty wrong in going as a Harry Potter or Twilight character.
