  • I've got the record. Play it time to time on a 1700. Need to get back to the project of referb/upgrade on my 1510.

  • i like erroll garner's version the most but nice job though

  • i love how coltrane "sneaks in".. in each and every solo he takes.. this is music as its best.

  • speechless,Miles Davis is amazing!!!

  • marvelous

  • This is heroin Coltrane for sure. He had such a sadness to his tone before he went clean.

  • @casbont In '56, all five of them were high as hell!

  • @iracknads Can't speak for the other 4, but I think Miles had already gone cold turkey in his father's farmhouse by '56. The period between his trip to Paris in '49, and doing this series of albums on the Prestige label, is when he was hooked on heroine. If you mean marijuana, that well may be.

  • @casbont He never "went clean"

  • @GullyBrawls why do you say so?

  • Miles, always awesome

  • Awesom-O

  • It's really great!
