  • The reason that i went into the world of fashion advertising and illustration in the 80's. LOVED THIS!!!! STILL DO!!!

  • the late 70s give the most sexy girls ever

  • RIP Irvin Kershner.

  • One of the worst movies ever. Dunaway once again playing the same character as always (you know like Mommie Dearest, the Wicked Lady, Eva Peron, the Handmaids Tale) with the same intonations, the same movements, the same expressions, the same over-dramatized performance again and again and again. A dreadful movie and a terrible actress. Lucky she got the Oscar early on, before people realized she is playing the same character in every movie she makes.

  • She points at the television. The television is killing people. It's a murderer. That's the message of the movie.

  • This film was one of my inspirations to become a photographer

  • You are joking, right?

  • Superb images :O)

  • a terrific bad movie!love it!

  • i love this.

realy want to see the movie.

    thanks for uploading.

    luf you.

    lola

    ps FAYE YOUR THE BEST!!!!

  • (continued) including David Zelag Goodman (the original LOGAN'S RUN). Eventually, Barbara lost interest in doing the film and wound up contributing only the theme song. FAYE DUNAWAY stepped in. The cast, along with TOMMY LEE JONES, also starred RENE AUBERJONOIS and Raul Julia, (billed only as "RJ").

  • BACKSTORY: John Carpenter sold the script to producer Jon Peters, with the original intent of also directing it. The actress that Jon had in mind for the project was then-girlfriend BARBARA STREISAND. But when Barbara read it, she decided that it was too violent and she wanted certain changes made. Of course, by the time it was rewritten, it hardly resembled what Carpenter wrote, so he took the money and ran. Irvin Kirshner was hired to direct after it was rewritten still by many writers (more)

  • They didn't mention that JOHN CARPENTER wrote the script.

  • Omg yo la vi en los 80's cuando era un niño en el cine que mi abuelo tenia en esa epoca y Faye y Tommy Lee eran mis maximos fabulosa cinta y el soundtrack es deslumbrante la movie es un triller de colección

    ¡¡FIVE STARS!!

  • That was really Tommy Lee Jones.

  • This movie kicked ass and Barbra Streisand's vocals on "Prisoner" ROCKS!

  • This is weird. The new movie coming out with Jessica Alba seems a bit similar in a way. I would like to see this one redone now. I bet it would be fabulous.

  • The first actress who took one millon dolar in a film. The Eyes was the typical easy film Oscar actresses pick after winning the academy award. However the fashions and look were a laboratory for what the eighties became as style. Although Dunaway always seems to be atemporal, not attached to a period, which is great and talks about the style of that lady.

  • Fierce, beyond words.

  • Thanks a lot for uploading!!!!

  • love the voice of actor Tim McIntyre (the narrator) who's voice was so omnipresent in the late 70's. Who would've thought Kirschner would go from this to Empire Strikes Back

  • Brilliant.

  • Ryan and I love this movie.....one of the best from the oldies.

  • I loved this movie. thanks. The book was good too.

  • This is a great film. Faye Dunaway is fantastic in it. She makes the movies.

  • thanks...one of my fav's!!!

  • Faye Dunaway is so cool in this film. She was at the peak of her career.

  • thanks for that!! woohoo!!

  • 1978! I love this era: Sleazy glitz, Guy Bourdin, Helmut Newton & NYC back when the apple was still rotten but oh-so-juicy! The theme song is PRISONER by Barbra Streisand (who was going to play the lead role at some point, then backed out).Jon Peters, the producer, was her hairstylist & boyfriend at the time. Thanks for posting this rare promo-film!

  • does anyone know the name to this song???

  • The song is simply referred to as the Love Theme From "Eyes Of Laura Mars" (Prisoner) by Barbara Streisand. The only known standard release in the US (I think) is on Barbara Streisand's Greatest Hits:Volume 2,released in 1978. I recently bought this compilation primarily for that song, but the whole CD is great. Ironicly, I have never seen the movie, but i think I will rent it if I find it this weekend. Thanx for the question.

  • thank you...so fabulously 70's!!!

  • Thanks! Haven't seen this before. One of my favourite films.

  • Thank you for posting this video. This movie was one of my brother's favorite. Unfortunatelly he is not alive anymore. Today he would be turning 46 and I am so happy that I can watch something that he loved very much. thanks to you!

and the song...oh my god...it brings back lots of good memories....

    Love and Peace to you!
