Your right, The technology and the art was invented by Professor Pevnick who is a professor of art in Wisconsin.

It took 30 years from people to mimic his art.

It's good work, but it's not original, despite all the commentary by the artist. The technology has been around since the 70s. And yes, the Jeep Waterfall was made by the company of the guy who invented the technology.

True. Now if he wants to do something really original, he should put the nozzles on the floor and shoot the water upward. He'd probably have to 1.) sync it with a strobe light and 2.) write an algorithm for "reusing" as many water droplets as possible on their way up and down (in order to improve the "frame rate").

@beartard1 Isn't that like saying no painters are original because they didn't invent paint or canvas or paintbrushes? The originality in the work isn't in the technology, but in the idea to combine the technology with the metaphor of the constant stream of information we are fed through the internet. That's the art. The medium may be this awesome technology, but the art is in the idea.
