I lived there for two years (1988-1989) and loved every minute of it.

My husband and I were stationed on Adak for 4 years (PC & WT) in the 80's. We made life long friends and memories to last a life time. To some this is paradise, and a place that I long to return to. I love Adak and wish I could return to the days when it was filled with the activity of NAS & NSGA. Thank you to all who served and those that support the military. And to those who post video from the "Birth Place Of The Winds".

i was born in adak in 79 my dad was in the military. i only remeber one thing i was year old when we moved. i hope one day i'll get to visit

Thanks for the vid, would love to go back.  I was there in 90-92 and how do you get there? I know the Aleut Corp has possession of it and thats about it. Thaks for the memmories
