Yup. I run a Tamiya Drift Spec with ABS piping for drift tires. I've used Yokomo tires too but at $10 a pair? You can buy 1 short ABS pipe for less and make about 4 sets. If you're not competing, this is the way to go.

Yeah, you can still drift with a stock 540 silver can with ABS piping for tires. When you're ready, bump up to a faster motor. I drift with the Tamiya Drift Spec with a 12T motor.

you just buy any 4 wheel drive car in your local hobby shop (TAMIYA,YOKOMO,HPI...) there is milion of them you can also order from ebay etc. after you buy it and if doesent already have drift tyres you buy them and there you go...!

A "hobby shop" is a shop that sells all dose R/C (REmote COntrol) toys, like airplanes, boat & cars etc...

ANd remember, it must be a 4WD (4wheel Drive) car also get a set of Drift tires if it doesent come with it.

i thinks thats the best part of buying kits, u can completely do the car ur self, rtrs are making too much problem eg. i have a rs4 evo3 rtr and when i first bought it the dampers wasnt filled and the fuel tank was shattred :S i luv yokomo kit especially MR-TC SD =)
