@kanton4o Varadero beach is an amazing peninsula. Beside everything else, including proximity to Havana (2h) I loved the fact that no high-rise hotels are sticking strait up from the beach. Road is on the opposite side of hotels... nice gardens, swimming pools, hotel bars and restaurants are only obstacle in between ocean and your room :-)
So, not only that you were brave enough to skydive, you went up in the air in replica of Russian Antonov biplane? (WWII) and that deserves a medal :-)

Hotel Playa De Oro! I came back 2 days ago!! IT WAS AMAZING, GOING BACK AGAIN!! My friend and I did SKYDIVING!! it is a must!!
