reagan was a phony, if it was such a "mandate" and a "revolution", why did only 50 % of voters turn out in 1984? Oh yeah, there is the messy bit about VP Bush 1 son's friend (Hinckley friend of Marvin Bush) trying to kill him 2 months into his first term, but hey, what are friends for but to "get you in line".

I hate how the way things are going in this polarized way for the last 30 years plus even more today. It used to be about the 'checks and balances' now it's this total name-calling event. Hopefully people will start doing like us and read about things again instead of listening to whatever the media tells them to think.
