Hi when I downloaded your texture pack on the nether rack it was blue and it had writing on.

Plus on some of the bricks like pumpkins had flames on them.

So how can I make it so it is like yours?

how do u figure out how many mobs are in a place by pressing f3 and why doesnt my mob spawner work??? no mobs are spawning (ill send u pics if u need)

@Shruix the line that says E: tells how many 'entities' are in your line of site / total entities in the game. But keep in mind, entities also include drops or broken blocks (floating).

As for your mob spawner... check out my 'Mob Spawner Basics' video to help improve efficiency.

@monkeyfarm ive already watched your mob spawner basics video 3 times and i think its really good but ive tried it and still doesnt work for me... :/ my mob spawner is at the very top of my world so that the caves and my skeleton spawner doesnt mess with it yet still no mobs....

@Shruix 1) Even if your spawner is at the top of the world, you can still get mobs in caves - 144 block area - light them up! 2) What do you mean by skeleton spawner... the little monster cage block? IF yes, this is not the same thing... A spawner is a large dark room where mobs can spawn (just like if it were dark outside at night). On the other hand, for the little spawner-blocks, you need to be within 16 blocks of them to activate them. Totally different thing.

Oh and idea for your tree house base, you could make a robin hood king of thieves style draw bridges plus disney tarzan's house (with a couple changes) that would look awesome.

@shomuzudaki the seed was first loaded in beta 1.6 - Biomes changed everything completely in beta 1.8, and somewhat again now with 1.1. So if you want that exact seed, you'd need to load it in 1.6 or 1.7. I'm moving it all over to the new seed now with jungles.
