yes, there would have been the mercy rule, but the mercy rule ends the games at the END of the inning. If he scores 84 in the top of the 1st and othey guy gets 3 in bottom, AFTER the end of the inning, the mercy rule is displayed.

The mercy rule cannot be displayed in the middle of an inning.

It's fake because they once stopped the game for me in the middle saying "mercy rule" meaning I was far enough ahead of my opponents that they just decided to end the game after I was about 10 points ahead or however far ahead I was.
