The guy is funny. Perfectly fair satire of Republicans. But it is shitty to write in the description that this is really a congressman from Ohio. Liberals just can't tell the truth.
Ignorance is bliss Narcissism. Until we focus on eliminating ALL poverty (like a civilized society should)in our country the USA does not deserve to be restored to former S. Power status. If we can spend Trillions of dollars dropping bombs on Iraq and Afghanistan we can afford to feed our own voters who need it. The poor didn't tank our economy and embarrass our nation, they simply do not have the access to resources to do that. It was the rich, politicians and big business. Deflection.
Poor people don't pay taxes. If the oil companies pay more taxes, they will just pass it on to us, higher gas prices. Oil companies only make 2-3% in profit where banks make 30%. I'm glad a capitalist company can bring gas to market at half what they pay in Europe. Oh and they reinvest their money to create jobs. Or tax them and let the govermant waste the money,
@crossafix gas may be cheaper here but gas companies lobby congress to slow down the importing of technologies that can increase our gas mileage. Europeans may pay more for gas, but they fill up less often. We still pay more than Europe for our gas. Research before you spew.
i'm so glad that this is just satire. i heard him on TYT today and was afraid that he was really a congressman. the fact that i had a hard time telling that it was satire just shows how accurate his portrayal of far-right conservatives is.
I think the guy was just being cocky,we all do that, but not at the expense of poor people. The truth is poor people don't pay the bulk of income taxes, the rich and middle class do!But,poor people suffer from the rich in many many ways, some unintentionally. This country has many things, but honestly i think they need to spend more time on compassion
We must carefully maintain free market mechanisms to insure the elimination of the unwanted and unfit. Society should never have been allowed to care for them in the first place. It is a scientific fact that social progress interferes with the balance of nature. The unfit must be prevented from reproducing and die out. If we allowed the free market to do its work without government interference we would soon defeat the inferior races and be their masters as God intended. Das Kapital Uber Alles!
Parody is important. Shows how absurd the conservative position is on gays and corporate welfare. On tax breaks though, the poor do get relief. They only get taxed 0%-10% of income, and have social services that are paid for by the middle and upper classes.
Everyone needs to relax. This is a character created by Paul Gilmartin. He's been on Adam Carolla's podcast a couple times and he's the same guy who host's "dinner and a movie" on TBS. It's a joke, please take it as such.
Conservativesaregood who do you think serves in the military? Is it people from Bush's soc/eco class? I don't think so. So don't ever say poor people don't give something to this country. The give the only thing they have left that is of any value. It's called their life.
This a joke just like Colbert. Nothing he is saying is serious. For someone to take any of this serious is moronic, closed-minded, and ignorant. He is doing a satire on the media perception of republicans. No one actually thinks this way it is a joke.
Last I saw, it's true, my twin turbo diesel truck-boat-truck does NOT run on poor people. It runs on natural substances like gas. It came straight from the ground. How bad can the stuff be? Straight from mother nature!!!!
A repercussion of Hillary taxing "Big Oil" would be that she would be taxing the investors of "Big Oil." We the people would be taxed once again, and with her brood of viper lobbyists at her disposal you can be certain this would bring about another round of birthpains, the first of which was brought about by the (One Who Should Not Be Named.)
I support the Fairtax which for the most part right now both parties are refuteing. The embedded taxes and corprate taxes would go away insted of being rolled over into everone elses taxes. Read the Fairtax book and go to fairtax dot org.
How can you not find him funny...Humor is freedom...only by attempting to understand how other people think can you truly be a righteous judge of character...Both parties have been infiltrated by control freaks...we have to learn to judge individuals...Humor is a sign of a higher intelligence...It employs multi-layered thinking patterns that don't necessarily reflect an exact perspective...so there.
"Big Oil" is Federally Subsidized and without that suoort it costs "Big Oil" $5-$7 a gallon to Pump and Ship the Oil to the wholesaler/refiners. With Federal Help "Big Oils" so called "Billions in profits" is 10 cents a gallon. Wholesalers set the market value after their costs of refining and shipping and storing and they also are the one taxed by federal, state, city and county governments and pass the cost to Gas Station owners that make 2 cents a gallon profit on a good day
Ooops, Support not Suoort...lol. In any case "Big Oil" is the Federal Government's bigest Welfare recipient that SHOULD be cut off and let Gas go up to it's true Market Value of $15-$27 a gallon easy just because it will be funny to see all the people bitching now about $4 a gallon while still putting gas because that is the type of Car they CHOOSE to drive cause it stll is the most Economical ones to use.

Anyone who wants to know the REAL truth about Bush's career in the ...Guard?
Call you local Air Guard unit and tell them you want to be a pilot....Like Bush did. Tell them you have a college degree with a low GPA.
then listen to what you have to do to JUST GET ON A LIST!... to go to Officer''s
s school FIRST! Every ROTC college grad & Res officer would be AHEAD of you.
+ When you get enough "time" in, you ask for "inactive" status, it's automatic...or was then when I was in it too.
