  • I was surprising to see gouki rushing down in this matchup.. but when he started losing he backed off. lol

    also, I didn't notice any teleporting. can honda punish with headbutt or something?

  • Yes, Akuma is vulnerable at the end of the teleport. You can avoid headbutts by teleporting forward, but that's obviously very risky.

  • Teleporting against a good player often guarantees free hits for them, there really isn't that many opportunities to teleport.

  • He didn't teleport because he could be punished for it, but he did do the teleports cousin and that is a air-hurricane kick. Do a hurricane kick as soon as you leave the ground and you'll fly to the opposite side of the screen, giving you a little bit of meter AND sending you to the other side, usually without risk of being attacked. He did it a couple times.
