ok its halal to eat all the seafood,now i undertsand that just fine,but doesnt islam also say not to make creatures of the earth suffer?when we eat shellfish how do we kill them?bbq DUMP EN BOILING WATER!!!!And sometimes we can even hear thier cries screaming from the boiling water,i saw a couple days ago on the cook show putting the live lobsters in the boiling pot of water and thats when i realised how horrible it was and i wouldnt want to die like that,that torture!

@acontrolledfreeman ....show me a scientific report which says plants are capable of feelings and emotions. I've never heard any scientist say this and i study plant and human genetics at university, i read all journals in this field. Plants do not have a central nervous system.

aSalamu3alaikum, hi im a bit confused now. if the wale was dead, it would be haram for them to eat it right? but they were starving, so it was ok for them to eat it. but what about when they took the meat back to madina? wasnt it still haram for the other people to eat it?

please can u expalin it to me.
