I dont write near as much as you Im sure but I still think Ive suffered from something similar. What I do is move on to another creative outlet, and when Ive managed to satisfy myself with that attempted creative venture, I find other things become more open and easier to complete, such as writing. To analogize, when I hated peas I switched to beans which I hated less. I learned to like them and then I no longer hated pees. Eat beans girl!

best cure for writers block ive yet found, freewrite. when i was in school in vermont, i had a journal that i wrote in, and i taught myself to write in ancient runic, so no one else could read it. Id go off into the woods if i was having trouble durring a thesis paper, and sit in the woods, take a few deep breaths, absorb the energy of nature, and then start writing, about anything, my day, my past, my future, what was around me, just anything. it greased the machine so i could get back to work.

Very true. Writers/artists block. I usually try a different media, or medium? of art that I usually or have not ever tried before. Like trying to paint with watercolors (which I never use). Or buld some with clay. Completely change activites for a while. It's like being creative, but you use different senses, different colors, mediums, textures....

Oh I've been there Lovely Proshka, as a guitar player/song writer I know right where you're coming from! There have been times where I have had 3 or more songs that I have started to compose, only to be put on the back burner due to 'Writer's Block'! Then there's the opposite end of the spectrum when I have a great song idea and have no way to capture it at the time, while driving, middle of the night, waiting for a train.. Gotta' keep a small tape recorder handy! Cool vid,
