  • The best way to fix a wet phone is put it in the microwave.

  • in the your video y do u keep saying um,um,um

  • My phone was wet from 1 till 6 anf I put it in the rice for 8hours and it works u don't need to leave for 5 days

  • rice isnt cheap either

  • that phone wasnt submerged

  • My pantech reveal just dropped in the tub and it was in there for a good 20 to 30 seconds. I didn't wipe off my phone I just took out the battery and sim and put it in there. Is it going to work if I try it just over night tonight cause I kinda need my phone by tomorrow and yes I realize I am a tard for dropping it in the first place, didn't mean to but shit happens....

  • I don't know who broke my phone but I found out it was broken at like 9 pm but I don't know what time it got wet cause I was at school do u think it will still work?!

  • or you could just claim on your insurance.

  • i like this and it really work i told lots of my friends about this and at first they thought i was crazy. I told them more and said no try it it will work. So they did and said wow it does work.

  • So i made the mistake of trying to turn the phone on right after it got wet would this trick still work?

  • DUDE YOU JUST PUT YOUR PHONE IN THE FUCKIN WATER WOW!

  • @iAlexis1011 REALY! Who would have guessed!?

  • total BS , phone wet = throw away and buy new one.

Once corrosion starts working its way throught he handset the risk of fire in your pocket is high. To remove liquid YOU HAVE to dismantle the handset and dry it properly.

eg. use pressurised airduster from camera/elec shop to push out the liquid contamination.

If salt water dont even bother you are wasting your time.

    Rice is good for eating!

  • @forest738 mine too

  • the first thing you will do is to remove the battery, dry the phone for 2-3 days, put it under sunlight or anything that can dry the water from inside, then turn it on again.. but the lcd maybe damage..

  • just wondering if this works, i was drunk and droppend my phone in a bucket of icy water and left it in there for about a day... hahhaahah shouldve listened to my mum when she told me not to get an 1000 dollar iphone

  • Drop my s2 In water few hours ago ..

  • i have the same phone and it happend to me

  • put my battery in there?

plzz replyy!! my second time dropping it n my dad is going to kill me

  • WHat if it got berly wet and n waited three days o do that

  • lol you just put your phone in a really small amount of water, mine was in the washing machine

  • @Forest738 LOL!

  • everyone has to chill with you comments because at least he is trying to help us god

  • the rice stoks inside and its hard 2 get it out

  • @lbfxb97 let me guess you are 14 , do you even know what squirt is kid ? First graduate then talk trash

  • no the trick is that if you try to use your phone, it would fry the circuit board. So the trick is to shut it off, or pull out the battery. Let it try for a week. Its been around for a long time, especially for ipods

  • What if it had squirt , I was fingering my girlfriend and recording it and she squirted on it now it doesn't work at all

  • @AWSOMELYRAW alright well thats a complete lie

  • Thx man

  • My sister actually told me about this but i still had to look it up! My 3 year old cousin was playing with my phone in the tub last night like it was a toy (i didn't know she had it until way later) i dried it but the buttons and screen still wouldnt work so i put it in rice overnight and everything is working just fine!!!

  • The first thing you do is not dry it off, take the battery out!

  • just saying a massive THANK YOU!!!!, had my phone (a samsung genio touch) in my shirt pocket and when i picked up the toilet seat it fell down the toilet (careless mistake, i'd forgotten it was in there and it was like 2am so my reaction time was pretty slow! ahaha) my friend said try putting it in rice because he'd looked up some youtube vids, i was like wtf at him, found this and so tried it, three days later and it works!!!!! so happy!! :D

  • @2qoncept Lhh , Lmao !

  • that's not good. u must remove the battery fast

  • this worked!!! at least it did for my htc inspire

    =D

  • very weird question... wat if a little boy peed on my phone, will it work then cause my cousin is 2 and pissed on my phone

  • i wish my phone would have landed in a small container of water instead of the washing machine full cycle for 45 minutes... fml

  • @DJCameronWheeler amen bro...

  • Pfft fuck the phone i'm gonna eat that rice

  • wheres the part of the video when you actually have evidence of it working again?

  • i just splash a little water on it before, it wont turn on do you think this will work.

  • He might not know the models and details but I agree that your demo was weak as far as getting it wet.At least submerge it.Looks like barely any water got in there.I dropped my shit in a river and most other phones get dropped in the toilet.

  • what if my phone was in the water for like 5secs today ?? so if i try that now would it work?

  • I feel so stupid I drop my phone in the tub cleaning it....I did that saturday I didn't know what to do I dried it out it worked now the buttons won't work :(

  • My phone fell in a pool for 5 seconds an I tried the bleach on the battery. It worked but didn't fix my phone completely. God my dad is going to KILL me. Please!! Work!!

  • the rice i just submerged mine in has all this "salt-like" throughout it. i took the back off of my phone, and put it in. its only been a couple hours, but this salt like stuff is all in the grooves of everything in my phone...is this bad???

  • is it okay if i use spanish rice instead? its all i have..

  • my i phone fell into my pool for 2 minutes. the rice worked. :D

  • @nickdrewdustin85 .. you for real that the rice thing wrked?? .. i had the same accident just today .. damn i hope this rice thing wrks ..

  • thank you to them haahahah :D

  • Thanks For the Tips!! It worked great!

  • how long does it take to fix it?

  • What u want to do is take a wet towel. Hahahahaha. Pachez ahulahan.

  • Why would u dry it with a wet towel. Dont u mean a dry towel.

  • @TheWBTBchannel k.... its a mistake? u seem to love flaming ppl...

  • @TheHowToKrew You sound like WingsOfRedemtion

  • @TheWBTBchannel this project doesnt seem to work

  • @TheWBTBchannel i was thinking the same thing when he said that

  • tkx for info u just save me $450 phone was in the toilet for 30 seconds took 1 day to dry!!!!!!

  • some water..salt,oil a few minutes ..on low heat..mmm mmm mm add some chorizzo..guauu ..

  • if this works ill give u a cookie

  • It Works Thats guys my dads not angry at me anymore since hes phone got fix YAY !

  • I tried this trick and my iPhone still didn't work. When I tried to return it to the Apple Store they wouldn't accept it because they heard something rattling around inside. Finally a few grains of rice fell out onto the counter and I almost died from embarrassment. Thanks for ruining my phone and my life jerk

  • @2qoncept hah sucks for u man , should of made sure there wasnt any rice in before u took it in,

  • calm your balls. .

  • @2qoncept lmaoooooooooooooooooooooo omg thats funny!!!!! but sorry about your iphone so did u get another iphone back ??

  • @2qoncept lol

  • @2qoncept hahhhaha..sucks for you

  • @2qoncept Its not a trick to do for amusement, its to fix your phone IF this happens.Anyone who would intentionally submerge their phone and blame it on someone else should never reproduce because of the stupidity that will be passed on.How long did you wait until you tried turning it on?I dropped my shit in a river and got it to work.I left it for three days after taking it apart and putting it in rice.once you turn it on and there is still water it will never work again...good job dumbass

  • @2qoncept not that i'm the right person to talk about it, but if you needed to do something like this to your phone, you're probably the one to blame in the first place.. just saying.

  • @2qoncept it won't work dip dip..it's a touch screen phone and water will get in it faster and a phone is not post to be water resistence and then if you want to fix it get your cell phone provider and call them up and tell them to get you a new phone....i got my phone from verizon so ask them but if you got it from the apple store it wont work.

  • @2qoncept LOL! sorry for your Phone its funny though.

  • @2qoncept dude ur a fool... if its water damage, never bring it to the store, because water damage is never covered and they can tell if it has water damage or not from the sticker. From the point u get ur phone wet, its DIY... This guy showed every1 an easy and effective method which works probably 98% of the time and u just being unlucky, dont hate on him mate.

  • I HAVE A TOUCH MOBILE PHONEWHEN I TURN ON IT IT SHOWS ONLY WHITE SCREEN WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • @amitmaxxsh do what this tutorial does. i have the same problem and i did it like 10 minutes ago xD

  • i dropped my phone in a bowl of soup a few hours ago i took the battary out and sem and put it in rice but 4 hours later u think it will still work?

  • wasnt really SUBMERGED...

  • thats nothing. barely went into the phone..it was wet for like 2 seconds..plzz broo thats nuthing..thats maybe a defect or 2. styl worx

  • @icecold99 and the pone looks like it is waterproof too.

  • @TheMagicalTouch You sir, are the most brainless person i've ever had to reply to...Any average human-being would know that this is the EnV from verizon. And the only water-proof phone verizon makes in the GZone... learn your shit...

  • @TheHowToKrew and you are a dumbass aswell, i dont know anything about verizon, the whole world does not consist of america you know.

  • @TheHowToKrew i love my GZone lol phone is the shit

  • @icecold99 um... it was an example, i'm not goin to sit here and submerge a perfect working phone for a video? k bye

  • @TheHowToKrew Wait thats that phone? called

  • @icecold99 does it actually work?

  • i tried that for my wet phone and it didn't work :( i will have to get a new phone :-/
