My pantech reveal just dropped in the tub and it was in there for a good 20 to 30 seconds. I didn't wipe off my phone I just took out the battery and sim and put it in there. total BS , phone wet = throw away and buy new one.

Once corrosion starts working its way throught he handset the risk of fire in your pocket is high. To remove liquid YOU HAVE to dismantle the handset and dry it properly.

eg. use pressurised airduster from camera/elec shop to push out the liquid contamination.

If salt water dont even bother you are wasting your time.

the first thing you will do is to remove the battery, dry the phone for 2-3 days, put it under sunlight or anything that can dry the water from inside, then turn it on again.. but the lcd maybe damage..

no the trick is that if you try to use your phone, it would fry the circuit board. So the trick is to shut it off, or pull out the battery. Let it try for a week. Its been around for a long time, especially for ipods

He might not know the models and details but I agree that your demo was weak as far as getting it wet.At least submerge it.Looks like barely any water got in there.I dropped my shit in a river and most other phones get dropped in the toilet.

I tried this trick and my iPhone still didn't work. When I tried to return it to the Apple Store they wouldn't accept it because they heard something rattling around inside. @2qoncept it won't work dip dip..it's a touch screen phone and water will get in it faster and a phone is not post to be water resistence and then if you want to fix it get your cell phone provider and call them up and tell them to get you a new phone....i got my phone from verizon so ask them but if you got it from the apple store it wont work.
