This brings me to tears every time I watch it. I just saw him play in Luckenbach, Texas last weekend. An absolute underrated folk/country genius. Why more people don't know about him, I'll never understand. This, to me, is what country music always represented.

Amen to that. Have seen Billy Joe twice and talked with him and he is a very unique star- very humble and likable with a great sense of humor. His songs have so much feeling in them from his heartfelt lyrics. Never got to see his son Eddy, but he's fantastic in the videos I've seen. I know Billy Joe loved him.

My wife and I seen Billy & Eddy on St. Simmon's Island Georgia about 1995. During the break they sat at our table and chatted. I was a rocker and heard great things of Eddy, had to check it out. BJS fan for life. It's an addiction.

This is very touching. I first heard Eddy play at a BJS concert around the late 1970's. I didn't know it was his son. What I did note was that this young kid was playing sooo tasty. He wasn't playing fast or fancy, just incredibly tasty, which is unusual in general, and especially for a young kid. It really made an impression on me. I later found out it was Eddy.
