I"ve always wondered if the fawn was good or bad. He seemed so scary, but he also guided her. Maybe that was the point though. There isn't all good and all bad in the world. Sometimes its so smashed together it is hard to make out heads or tails.

we're just so used to Hollywood stories with Hollywood endings that watching such an imaginative beautiful masterpiece is hard for many of us. This movie shows how one can escape to a realm of imagination where everything is beautiful unlike the real world which is full of violence, war and hatred. Doesn't matter u think that realm exists or not; the point is how soothing it is to have a place to find eternal peace.

@MsLovleySorrow If you don't mind me asking, where did you see this movie on TV, the Spanish Network? The film's been out for a while and I haven't seen it on dish network once.

Even so, seeing a movie on TV just isn't as good as watching it on DVD or in the theatres because the Network always cuts the best stuff out

It's great altogether if you understand Greek mythology. Pan is actually the Minotaur: in the center of the Labyrinth.....I've never seen a story like this, but I like it. I just wish they didn't make Pan look so goat like!

That's not Pan literally. The title was called that in America and France, but that's just a faun. Hence the Spanish title "El Laberinto del Fauno" or the Labyrinth of the Faun. Fauns are goat like, and it's always up to interpretation. :)

@LuckyRedOne Erm... technically speaking. In greek mythos, Pan was the god of the Wild and was often depicted as a satyr, or half-goat half-man.

lol i happen to see this while listening to Latika's theme. it's so similar as a lullaby to lost and forgotten children...particularly the heroines.
