Nice lyrics . You have talent there is no doubt about that . The other thing that struck me while listening to this number is that you have a very "vulnerable" quality in your voice . it should come out and not get drowned in loud strumming . Your guitar sound id good but you may like to lower the volume of the strumming a little to let your voice take over and be dominant .

It is true...my guitar does often drown me out....partly because the microphone is sitting closer to the guitar......I usually have to find half a pile of books to prop up the mic half the time.
