Scruffy was taken by Saratoga Springs, Utah animal control for the second time since last year. This time they did put him down, basically for no reason.
No, I don't think it was legal at all. I really have no idea how they were able to get away with this, and they seem to still be getting away with the continued harassment. :(
Sadly, yes. Scruffy is gone... He was a Chow that belonged to Therese (1butterflykiss) The horrible part about all this is, Scruffy was never an aggressive dog, the only thing he was ever guilty of was wanting to run. :(
The Chow belonged to 1butterflykiss, and the reason they did this is because (in my opinion) the agency and the neighborhood have some kind of sick personal agenda, as well as a double standard they've put into practice. You can learn more of the background in Therese's original video. :(

This dog looks very much like a Chow or Chow cross. Chows have "blue" tongues.

Yeah...wet...blue...purple...it's hard to tell. Either way a blue OR a purple tounge is an odd sight.
