The man is right, mining was the base wealth of this nation. There is no more wealth in the money we use. The gold was taken away in the 1930's. The silver was removed in the 1960's and last, the coppers was taken out of the coins in 1982. It is a truly a "In God We Trust" coinage. The printing presses are going strong to bail out the banks & wall street but who will bail out the tax payer. Our children and grandchildren can never pay off the trillions we are printing. Get your gold pans ready.

That was a very informative video, and living just up the road from idaho springs, I would guess that the large mill building pictured is the Argo Mill. It is currently as stated, a preserved mill for tours now.
