Ive read that the official language of the London 2012 olympics will be French and that the coverage will be in French. Just as well its going to be in a foreign language being that the country is now so full of foreigners that all you hear are foreign languages all around you anyway. It wont bother me anyway because im going to live in Germany where there are more English speaking people.

I cant talk for Europe i can only comment about Britain and Britain still has one of the largest forest per size of country in Eruope, the English Lowlands beech forest is 17,600 square miles, which is quite large for a island the size of Britain. Plus when we do cut trees down we plant new ones to keep a sustanable wood supply. So Britain still have a few large very old forests left like Epping Forest, Sherwood Forest, National Forest, Thetford Forest and New Forest which are all pretty large.

Nah, its not that bad, i'm on call 5 days a month, due to the nature of my job i'm called into work ranging from 1-4 in the morning, its normally quiet. Obviously there are a few areas to avoid, but every city has that. I have never been mugged or anything in London. Ive read that the official language of the London 2012 olympics will be French and that the coverage will be in French. Just as well its going to be in a foreign language being that the country is now so full of foreigners that all you hear are foreign languages all around you anyway. What are you talking about? If a majority in Nothern Ireland wanted a united Ireland it would happen with the blessings of the British government. The fact is, the majoirty of people in Northern Ireland want to remain in the United Kingdom.
The same is true of the Falklands, all of the people there want to remain a BOT. If they wanted their islands to become part of Argentina it would happen.

The Falkland Islands are not 'part of Britain', they are a British Overseas Territory. They have their own elected government and legislature. It's not that different from Canada, they're just smaller and can't maintain their own military.
Northern Ireland is not a colony it is part of the UK, in the same way Texas is part of the US.
Britain colonised many places around the world, should people of British descent in North America lose their rights because they were once a colony?

I have already seen many documentries on the Amazon Forrest and they have all come the same conclusion. That there will be no forrest left in the near future unless something is done to stop it, plus other facts such as less rainfall is recorded climate differnces in certain areas because of the logging.
Brazil alone has the largest area of forest removed annually. Since 1970, over 232,000 square miles of Amazon rainforest have been destroyed. Food for thought eh.

I cant talk for Europe i can only comment about Britain and Britain still has one of the largest forest per size of country in Eruope, the English Lowlands beech forest is 17,600 square miles, which is quite large for a island the size of Britain. Plus when we do cut trees down we plant new ones to keep a sustanable wood supply. So Britain still have a few large very old forests left like Epping Forest, Sherwood Forest, National Forest, Thetford Forest and New Forest which are all pretty large.

I don't live in a hispanic country, I live in Brazil, the only American country that was colonised by portugueses. Amerindians of Brazil were not whiped out. Portuguese colonization was different from Spanish colonization.

These were few of the number of countries that were explored by British greed. So, you see that the problem of the world was and still is Western Europe, or more specific GB. China had the world's largest empire looooooooong time ago, but was a peaceful and prosperous empire, so the u can't say that the world was always the way it is now. I believe in change. Yes we British visited alot of places, we were more greedy to feed the largest empire in the world, but unlike your portuguese cousins, we didnt whipe out the entire native population. About 80% of countries we exploited were made better by introducing shipping, banking, economics, traid routes, manufacturing, industry, schooling law and order which still exist in most of these countries today. We left these places in a better state than when we first found them.

There was no financial system or industrial revolution in Portugal or any other place of the world outside GB when Brazil god its independence in 1822.

No we didnt kill all the natives, most of the indian atrocities happend after USA got indipendence from Britain and becoming a multinational country full of Irish, Germans, Dutch etc, i'm not saying that we didnt kill any of them we did but the British people did have good relation with many of the tribes in the US(look up Iroquois Confederacy) all of the atrocities in Canada were the bystanders and victims from the wars between Britain and France.

Nah, its not that bad, i'm on call 5 days a month, due to the nature of my job i'm called into work ranging from 1-4 in the morning, its normally quiet. Obviously there are a few areas to avoid, but every city has that. I have never been mugged or anything in London. Alot of the stabbings are gang on gang violence, gang turf wars etc. I have been mugged at knife point in NY but thats a different story.
