Well he is using a european crane that must mean that they are moving in the right direction. Also Doing it the american way requires more people which is good in a sense. In Europe and especially sweden we use cranes like that but with feller heads.
You should really concern how it´s done safely and a lot faster by one man only... I´m surprised You are not interested in progress.This attitude can be seen all across America in many ways.
