  • This is one of Pell's finest classics. One of many fantastic Orientally influenced metal songs...Gates Of Babylon, The Sails Of Charon, Egypt (The Chains Are On), Powerslave, Sphinx (The Guardian) & Seventh Star, Pyramid Of Cheops (YJM), Babylon (Stratovarius), Tarot (YJM), Trail Of Tears (KenZiner), Pharaoh's Dream and Tears Of Babylon (Virtuocity)...the list goes on...I got tens of songs in this category...plus the whole production of Nile and Karl Sanders...

  • dreaming of the casbah! :))

  • this song remembers metallica-harvester of sarrow and dio-gates of babylon

  • Sweet! Jeff Scott Soto reminded me of Freddie Mercury in this song.

  • Can You Feel The Fire Frome Down Onder

  • wery well

  • jeff scott soto ... amazing vocals .. highest and most powerful screams ... he can sing anything ... he raps also i guess :D

  • yeah and btw the guy below me, CorpseScream that's me so thanks for the thumbs up and I still thinks that it sounds like Metallica.

  • Great song! But what is the "Casbah"? I know that google is my friend, hehe, but it's more fun to ask someone else.

Is it the promised land that he sings in the beginning?

  • @fictionalsilence The Casbah (Arabic: قصبة‎, qasba, meaning citadel (fortress)) is specifically the citadel of Algiers in Algeria and the traditional quarter clustered around it. More generally, a kasbah is the walled citadel of many North African cities and towns. The name made its way into English from French in the late 19th century (the Oxford English Dictionary states 1895), and continues to be spelled as acquired from that language. taken from wikipedia :)

  • This is probably the best song I have heard by Axel Rudi Pell so far. Great stuff.

  • /////----DOBREEEE////----

  • Great riff, great solo, great singer!

  • @Bruce2504 great band? :)))

  • yes they remind me of metallica, too. and I think axel rudi pell is really one of the best bands, but I don't like their name :D

  • @SpatenNr1 it's the name of the guitar player lol

ps: the people that come to this video and click on the dislike button have

no taste in music at all...

  • Para mim, a melhor banda da actualidade sem duvida, com riffs de guitarra espectaculares, talvez daqui a mil anos apareça outra igual ;)

  • Axel rudi is the best band ever hands down, ive always thought the main riff to this song sounded a little like metallica's where ever i may roam? personally i reckon they ripped it hahaha

  • Their intro kinda reminds me of Metallica's Ktulu :)

  • Yeah, you're right, it starts at 0:23

  • @Zazimuth Well, let's just say that they took the best out of the 2 songs and made them into one ultra hiper awesome one! :D :D
