When i had those stats i killed the 3 tonberries xD

I don't see what's so hard. just buff and debuff then spam relentless assault until he dies. he shouldn't have enough time to use a grudge, but when i was low stats a deep-seated grudge KO-d me so it was quite a bit harder. if you're leveled up a bit more, have a sentinel paradigm ready just in case and heal afterwards. anyways, with 1 tonberry it's pretty hard to fail...

Yeah I wasn't even near these stats when I did this (except on Lightning), so it took me a couple tries, but I got it with Vanille/Light/Fang on full TP. First went SAB/COM/SAB until he was debuffed enough. Then I switched to RAV/RAV/RAV, got him close to stagger, hit him with two Quakes, and then summoned Vanille's guy who took him out. I used gestalt almost immediately as I was afraid he'd use a Grudge and I'd lose the summon.

Don't really know how i did this... I had about 5 goes and got close to staggering him a few times but never quite made it before his grudge attack. Just did it now and he suddenly staggered after about 20 seconds i wasn't really paying attention to how it happened but oh well! 5 stars!

My strategy.

Vanille/Light//Fang

SAB/RAV/SAB

RAV/RAV/RAV

RAV/RAV/COM

Use SABx2 and RAV until Tonberry has DeShell, Poison, Imperil (and possible DeProtect. Switch to either RAVx3 or RAVx2 COm until it dies. Simple.

@CrimsonStarDragon that was insane, less than a minute of fighting and he was dead, and didnt even come close to 500 of stagger so i didnt even stagger him, nice move man very nice

I used three Paradigms 1.) Relentless Assult, 2.) Bully 3.) Combat CLinic

I used only Bully, because Hope will cast alot of thing and i cast Ruin everytime and took him down in 2-3 minutes

i was able to beat tht thing usinf Vanille but i used a different tactic. i took a minute to attack tht thing the used her summon to beat that thing into submission it was beautiful

i would have preferred to fight that tough ass looking cieth in the cutscene becaue tonberrys grudge fully heals him

@TheAeroTurtle Technically you were supposed to face a pinkish white Cie'th but the Tonberry owned it and now you have to fight it instead.
