  • might be a bit overkill.... cool though!

  • @4x108Dtec Next time I'd probably look into installing an Apexi safc for pressure and temp readings, plus a combined afr and egr gauge... that'd make a much cleaner setup :)

  • are these accurate ?

  • @abunaiN1 Well, AFAIK; yes... but I do admit though, values on the dials were not double checked; they were (consistently) reading what I expected based on some experience of myself, and of course other people I was sure of they know their stuff well too. Err, I hope that makes sense ;)

  • Thou shalt not tempt me! xD

  • You should install another row of gauges behind those gauges, then put one of those big Flava flav clocks in the center of your dash as a centerpiece.

  • @Darkrage187

    awesome!

  • que paletoso

  • if you are looking at the gauges who is driving lololololol

  • @sertox12345 LOL, it's not as bad as it looks! You'll get used to the extra lights in the corner of your eyes, and the gauges flash red and beep when exceeding a user definable reading. This won't notice a sudden drop in oil pressure though.

  • Are those the 60mm gauges?

  • @bansheerider666 No, these are the standard 52mm gauges.

  • Are those the 60mm gauges?

  • they're nice looking but it's installed kinda ghetto!

  • @solocrusher Ghetto is good!

  • @stefan2meter no it isn't

  • I read the comments before but installing them looks really hard. I'm not really up to taking off the WHOLE dash to get some nice gauges in. I'll probably just install them to the door pillars.

  • It's really easy, there are just a few screws and plugs... afaik, there's a how-to on SAU, or one of the UK forums.

At first glance, it may look a bit intimidating; I did it in about 3 or 4 hours and I didn't rush it, test fitted it a few times to get the gauges in the right spot... including removing the doors and getting them back in.

I never removed a dash or door before, but I've been doing most of the maintenance on my own cars for a few years :-)

  • Can you tell me how you mounted your gauges on your dash?

  • @mysrt4303 Sure, I took out the passenger side door and mud guard for the EGT and w/b O2 sensors wiring, then I took out the entire dash and mid console, to hide all the rest of the sensors wiring in a nice orderly fashion.

With the dash out, I drilled some holes in the area's I wanted to install the gauges, just small enough for the connectors to go through, and then screwed down the foot for every gauge pot so each one would face me perfectly.

  • @stefan2meter thanks man appreciate it, seems like a lot of work though lol

  • gauges galore!

  • @RsBl0gger91 Yeah, would have loved a system like in the R35, with a screen displaying stuff like that... but I traded the car for an S4, wich I left stock :P
