This video is incredible. The 250r is by far the most amazing quad of all time. Nearly 25 years late it could still eat up a modern 450 with the right mods and the right rider. I wasn't even alive for this quad's glory days, but this video gives me a butterfly feeling in my stomach and a tingle in my spine. Long live the 250r, long live the King.

bought my first r yesterday, is an 86 with all the full original plastic and seat cover, only thing wrong is theres a small crack in the right fender. the seat is perfect, heck its still got the tool box hanging off the frame lol, I've also got an 08 450r and id rather ride the 86 hands down

best machine ever built. my dad had in old 87 in the machine shed and i found it pulled it out and with a little tlc and new plastic it runs great i have an suzuki ltr 450 i got my friend to get on my ltr and i raced him and the 250 did not win but they where neck and neck and my ltr has a pipe, cherry bomb, anda high performance transmission. the 250 is stalk it just needs an after market front suspensoin a pipe a high performance clutch and a little bit of tunning and ill have the Ltr beat

Cool video! I am trading my racing kart set up for a new r tomm. This guy spent 10k buying all new parts. All the stuff is pure racing parts. runs on racing fuel. This ATV has more than 20years, however it is better then much of the actual 450's, for it's time it was simply unbeliveble that it there was.

Damn you 4 strokes! Ok the bomb squad team would do so much better in their stunts with 250rs. 4 stroke are heavier, and your limited. All the free style dirt bikers use 2 stroke, why...because there better and lighter. I mean come on, could travis pastrana pull of a double back flip on a 4 stroke.......I DON'T THINK SO!!
