It is. But unfortunately a flat left wrist is a vapour trail or by product of an effective pivot. It is NOT a geometric alignment mutually exclusive from the forces creating it. You may as well look at the vapour trail from a jet fighter in the sky and come to the conclusion that if you can just create the trail then that will lead to the creation of the jet plane. It's backwards thinking and just plain poor science. Stop looking for band aids people and wake up!

A flat left wrist at impact is the first imperative for a good golf swing according to the book by Clampett "The Impact Zone". Wrist Rite is a nice idea.
