@bethoughless Play games most definatly. Reading books on the side though, and then appyling what you elarn in your games can help though. But in the end, you must play games.
@FreeSheep hmm...that one's complicating. Do you know of the windmille shape? it's likely that each side will nobi if different directions to create the windmille shape. But that variation is complicating, because it mostly takes surrounding stones into account. Also there is alot of reading involved for different ways to play and what not. It would take a whole video to go over it, but I think windmille is probably the best answer I can give in this comments. Hope this helps!
@clossius Thanks that's very helpful. I got much better in the past few days and I understand it better. My question was because an opponent tsuke'ed both my hoshi stones in a game in which I responded the same way in both corners: I hoshi, he tsuke, I 3-3 hane, he crosscut, I atari both stones which he nobi'ed and then I play 5-5. I'm not sure if this is a good result but I probably lost because I wasn't able to use the outside influence I created efficiently.
nice vid man, u should post more. maybe some game analysis too. btw i finally figured out how to get to providence let me know if you ever want to meet and play a game :)
