@chubbz5150ify What kind of an a**hole are you? Mika almost died, his head cracked from ear to ear and they had do him Tracheotomy as well so he wouldnt die, he slipped into coma etc.. AND he returned to F1 to win 2 championships and to be the only guy able to beat Schumacher, and you dont say that he deserves those few minutes in this video?
@Mxxeri Was i been bad about Mika, no i wasn't. I have big repect for him as he came back from this to win two championships back to back. I just don't think this crash should have been in the video as every time i see it, it reminds me of Senna's crash at Imola the year before. Only Mika was lucky to walk away with his life. So if my comment came around the wrong way to u sorry, but i just don't like when in a compilation video when it's mostly videos of his crash. But he is in my top 5.
lol there were someone world class drivers then...i gues its cos of no drivers aids but serously understeering from a brake lock up into the wall in pit lane wtf
I had a 4 day pass for this race in adelaide .. flinders corner for all 4 days. also had gold seats in the 1988 grand prix on the hair pin to pit straight! Oh i miss the F1's in adelaide!
Isn't it ironic after Schumacher and Häkkinen both suffered major injuries in crashes, they came back as better quicker racers and won world championships.
I remember as a 7 year old SCREAMING at the TV, praying that Damon Hill could get to the pits and repaired so he could go back out and win the championship! Great racing though.
Great he sruvived.. he had 2 championships to get from Schumacher. Häkkinen is the best finnish F1 driver who ever lived, Räikkönen and Keke Rosberg right after him.
does anyone know why f1 never came back to adelaide?...i know melbourne was newer with world class facilities at that time in F1, but my gut instinct tells me that the saftey levels at adelaide for this crash probably didnt help...
It's you're, not your. Come back when you can speak English. You're basically trying to say Sid Watkins didn't try help Senna? Did you actually see it or has all that wanking made you go blind?
Hakkinen has not a good driver in Adelaide, in 3 races in competitive teams. The 3 he goes out, 1993 he fly and goes out, 1994 he crashes. 1995 crashes too.
it left when i was was under 5......but i do remember experincing the rush along Wakefield street there at my gomothers house standing on a ladder over the fence...right then is when i think i got my passion for motorsport

Diniz finished 7th for Forti, agonisingly close to scoring a point, he would have too as Panis' Ligier engine started smoking in the last few laps.

Wasn't a particularly stable pitlane was it :p although Coulthard's problem was more suspension than driver error. Pedro Lamy ahaha

Everything important that happened?
Is that supposed to be ironic because there was 4 min of Hakkinen's crash and only 1 min about the actual race.

So if Senna had survived 'his' crash..?
(is that correct English?)
F1since1996 3 years ago
It isn't ironic, it's logical. You lose a lot of fear and get a lot of respect that makes you a better driver.
DnylF1 2 years ago
@F1Ram yeah imagine if the ruled would have applied on senna recovering from imola, he probably wouldnt have retired if he had done good

In my opinion, Adelaide '95 and Monaco '96 were two of the best races of F1 history

Actually if the hospital was further away he might not have survived.
It was all about economics and money really.
