@loveofeathers I am looking around the atlanta area for a breeder but there is this one particular black standard poodle that needs adopting before possibly going to the shelter :( so I have contacted the owners to meet and greet them all :) she is only 1 year and 8 months so she is still young enough to introduce into my life and my cats (they grew up around dogs). and I plan on learning how to do less complicated grooming styles and techniques on her for weekly maintenance :)

@tweety0bird8 Wow that sounds nice. My female just turned two and that would make a nice age to add a poodle to your home, you can avoid all the puppy accidents and chewing. Good luck and if you get her make sure to post videos of your progress.

It's interesting that individual poodles have their own very unique ways of running. Yours does look like a race horse. Mine actually looked more like a deer with a very prancing gallop style. The other standards I've seen each have their own way to run too. Very unique
