I think this entire game was pretty good. It has it's ups and downs but for the most part I had tons of fun playing it.

Anyone wishing to buy this game I recommend it, It's a great Hack n' Slash GOD OF WAR style and it offers you a kind of Light Side/Dark Side choice for your Character.

Gameplay - 8/10

Graphics - 7/10 (Come on people it came out in 2006 or 7 graphics weren't on par by today's standards)

Story - 9/10 (loved it)

Replay - 8/10 (LOTR Game replayability)

Overall - 8.5/10 (Good)

The lyrics are more a product of the times Gothic. (beowulfs)

But hey if some people cant take that into account and put it in its context its a little sad.

I agree it does display women as a sexual objects but for that time they were viewed as that but were given respect as being mothers and teachers of children. (not to mention pillaging + rape was common)

I think the fact women endured through this time is a testament to their strength and fortitude despite the situation.

i really love the game. but the only worse part is the so called "legacy system". It has so many bad parts, such as the mission where you have to protect the cross of Christ. If it breaks, you lose.

Why can't it be so, that if the cross breaks, you would gain Monster Slayer legacy, instead of losing?

And it is impossible to become the hero king, cuz you can't kill some of the big bosses without carnal fury.

For a history nerd such as me this song is a bit dissapointing, the beowulf poem was written down in year 750. Iceland was settled (by Norway) in year 874. So there is no way a woman from iceland(which they mention in the song) could have existed, since icelanders as a people didnt exist at that time.

Big mistake(and rather typical american, sadly).

Other then that, the movie was good though. Just wish they wouldnt do such big stupid mistakes like that.
