  • will the golf MKIV vents fit a jetta MKIV?

  • @TheKrazyB The Golf vents wont fit the Jetta, the Jetta ones are slightly different. If you want to install DRL's in the Jetta vents I would suggest the slimlines or the shortline 3º

  • do you guys still have the MKIV daytime running leds because i couldnt find them on the site.

  • @TheKrazyB yes they are still on the site, in the Mk4 Golf lighting section.

  • Do these come with an English instruction manual?

  • @simlouey - Yes they come in English instructions

  • hello- is the slimline LED (clear) in stock? and how long does shipping (to USA) take upon receipt of paypal payment? and lastly- how long does it take (on average) to get a callback via the voicemail i recently left at your 800 number? thanks for your time in answering my questions!!

  • hey interesting is this fit in my civic 2011 honda bumper?

  • also can the "SlimLine" LED daydriving lights be custom fitted on any car (i have a Mazda CX-9 SUV)...and can these lights be wired to behave in different ways? (i.e can they be wired to the parking lights- in such a way that they will only turn on when i turn my parking lights on?)...or are they set to be wired to be behave in only one fashion?

  • @giddeontech Sure, you could fit them to anything you like. Checkout the product page on our site we have a link to the dimensional specs. Just compare those to the space you want to fit them to. They can be wired to only come on with your parking lights yes, they have actually 3 options for activation.

  • for the "SlimLine" LED daydriving lights, universal, black (US $ 269.00/ set order no.: UNI-187), with regard to the actual appearance of the 'white' light it produces, is closer to 4300K or 6000K? thanks in advance!

  • does the slimline led fit a 2007 350z?

  • @hixung17 I have had someone install them on a 350z yes, so it should be possible.

  • where do the light plug into? i have a mk5 jetta. do i need to reprogram anything?

  • @tazznt You would only need to hook in power to a 12v ignition controlled power source, pref. the fuse panel. Ground and then the trigger wire to the power line of the bumper parking lights (if you want auto dim). No reprogramming is necessary for any car install, no coding, no canbus killers, no errors .. nothing to worry about.

  • TmTuning

i was wondering if the SLIM LINE DRL fit on a 2008 RX8 without the grill??

  • @Devotion005 The dimensional specs are on the product page, you can compare those measurements to the space you want to fit them to.

  • Gdzie można to kupić i za ile?

  • I wonder how these would fit a fog-less B6 Passat vent.

  • @tmanpikos The slimlines would fit very well.

  • Where can I purchase the Mk4's?

  • do you have something like this for the skoda octavia 2010?

  • @akeret The universal LED DRL's we offer "could" be fitted to any car.

  • how much is it cost!!! the MK4

  • Considering the MK4 kit. I currently have Joey modded headlights with Silverstar H3 and H1s and would like to match the color output to the silverstars. Which one would match (tinted/clear) it best or are they both similar and just different cosmetic appearances?

    Thanx

  • @Ampli5d They would match the silverstars pretty good, Silvers have a nice white light that is not yellowish so you would not be too far off.

The smoked or clear dont matter, the LED's look the same when on under either option, so that wont influence anything. It's just a cosmetic difference.

  • @TMTuningdotcom

I recently received my MK4 kit...very well made indeed.

BUT I just bench tested em to see if they matched my silverstars and they are quite a bit off and not acceptable but rather than returning em immediately, an option would be to go with an hid projector headlight to try to match em.

My question is:What kelvin leds are used in this item. I know Silverstars are supposed to be 4000k but they are quite a bit yellower then your leds so I'm thinking maybe around 5000k

    Thanx

  • @Ampli5d I dont know the kelvin of the LED's, it's not listed. But them being nearly pure white I would estimate around 52-5400

  • Another video from the DRL's : watch?v=HvC4tYi-VDc

  • How could I order these ones? and can you please let me know how much?

  • Hi again, the DRL's will arrive around next wednesday i think. I have a question for you : What's the color-output from the slimline? Is it pure white or warm white? I hope it's pure white like audi DRL's.

  • @BelgianEvo They are pure white

  • @TMTuningdotcom : I know :) I received them today and 1 DRL's is allready fitted in the grille. Gonna upload a movie from that within 30minutes.

  • @TMTuningdotcom : Search my videos in my profile, and you will find the grillevideo :)

  • I really like those slimline DRL's, but i have a Jetta MKV and last week i installed an OEM foglight-kit. So those slimlines will not fit :-( Can't they make a smaller version of those slimlines for the fog-users? :)

  • @BelgianEvo I would recommend the shortline versions we offer, they are smaller and may be a better fit. You can also find those in the lighting sections on our site.

  • @TMTuningdotcom : Hi mate, thanks for the help and advice, but those short-line verions don't have the OEM/cool looks that the slimline have :) I have ordered the slimline version today, and i have done some measuring, and i think they will fit with some handy-work involved. I didn't order at your site tough because i live in Europe, and i have to pay 35% importtax on the purchase-price. I can always send you some pictures if you are interested in the project, if i succeed to install them.

  • @BelgianEvo Sure thing! When you get those installed shoot me over the pics, I would like to see them.

  • @TMTuningdotcom : Send me an e-mail with your e-mailadres where i can send the pictures too. My email is evo9 (at) belgianevo.be (spamprotected). I can't promise the succes of the mod yet, but i will try :-)

  • Hi could u please show how to mount the slim ones on a car? Thanks

  • @jerryx2000 There is no 1 way to mount to any car, they are universal fitment so it is up to the installer to determine which way to best fit to "said" given car.

  • Will the MK4 LED DRL's fit my 06' Jetta. My jetta also has the factory fog lights so will that be a problem??

  • Wow they look nice, but they are too expensive. Almost 300 bucks for a set?!

  • @bergi85

This is because these are some of the best quality DRL LED's on the market, not the cheap ones made in Asia. You get your money's worth for the price of them in quality and performance.

  • Seems like the link showed above in the sidebar is not working properly, the link itself works fine but once you are on there and trying to put the item in the basket nothing happens. I like the slim version. Thank you

  • i Have got a jaguar s type 2.7 diesel are those going to fit the car? if not can you recommend me somewhere to get them? Thank you

  • @Blackman91

The slimlines would prob be your be your best bet. You can find them on our site, the link is in the sidebar.

  • I was looking on your website and didn't really see anything perfect for a 2006 Audi A6 S-Line bumper.... Do you have any with a few more LEDS per side? rather than 5 maybe 7 or 8?

  • I have a 2000 Audi A8 and i wanna put these on my car but i want the slim ones that you showed first. how much is it?

  • I wood like know about LED for VW Golf IV. HOW is made? Прошу прощения за мой Англиский!!!( Sorry Inglish:))

  • Send me over a email (address in sidebar info) and I will try to answer any questions you have.

  • wait so the slimlines fit in the mk6 fog vents with fog lights? or without fog lights? because I feel like the shortlines fit WITH the fog lights, and not the slimlines.

  • If you have fogs then the slimlines wont work (there wont be enough room), however we are going to have a Mk6 specific kit up on the site shortly ;)

  • these would look awesome on the MKIV with the OEM HIDS...

  • so the slim lights are a perfect fit on the mk6 fog vents?

  • Yes they are very good fitment, these are not model specific but on the Mk6 they are as close as you can get.

  • HI TM Tuning.

Will any of your products fit the 2010 BMW x6 and still look good. I live in Germany and Ive seen a lot of c Crappy installations.

  • Yes you can use the shortline versions and install them in the center slot/vent below the grill. I have seen this done and it worked and looked pretty good.

  • can i replace the base model 2009 a4 day running lights with these.?

  • TM Tuning

Would these fit an Audi A4 2002/3/4

  • Yes they can be fitted to most all model cars, the A4 should be no problem at all.

  • Hey...fellow VW vortex member here...what about the slim line smoke lens for the R32 US spec. I want these...could not find them on your site.

  • Yes they will fit the R32 bumper vents really easy. You can find them in any of the lighting sections of the site. Just go to lighting/Mk4 Golf and you will find them on page 2

  • I have a 2008 US Spec R32...will they fit that....

  • Yes they will fit the Mk4 or Mk5 model of the R32

  • TM-Tuning,

I have these lights from you and own an MKV R32. Where can I locate the wire on my R32 that triggers the dimming effect (when my headlights come on)? I want the LED's bright when my headlamps are off and dim when the headlamps are on. Just like the OEM applications on Audi's and Porsche vehicles.

  • If you purchased them from us then send us a email and I can get you the technical info you need.

  • The "import" ones must utilize the superflux leds to give that 6500K cool blue illumination. It's an inexpensive led.

The "german" cases utilize the higher quality Luxeon or Cree leds which are capable of a pure 5000K white light. And they burn hotter with their higher lumen output, thus, explaining the heat sinks.

Good products, I wish they would break away from that Audi strip format and utilize something more original rather than copy what's already out there.

  • There is some new stuff coming out that will break away from the current trends but it's still in development. If I see anything new I will be sure to post up some vids from the next trade show here in Germany that will put out all the new stuff for 2010

  • How do you know they are Lumileds or Cree? They could be SSC or Nichia or some crap cheap high powered LED.. The tint has nothing to do with the manufacturer.. Each one can make any tint they want depending on the phosphor they choose to use..

  • TM Tuning conducts business with Phillips and Osram products.

Though not related to TM Tuning, car manufacturers based in Germany, use Phillips and Osram leds as well. There's all sorts of documentation on the internet announcing led technology utilized with car makers.
