The enforcer has nothing to gain by beating up the opposing star scorer who usually is not the toughest or most physical player on the team. Also, by doing that, it puts a target on your own teams star player. The enforcer has nothing to gain by beating up the opposing star scorer who usually is not the toughest or most physical player on the team. Also, by doing that, it puts a target on your own teams star player.
