Cool. Its a great song - was trying to find the video of duster himself. I agree, if you were 'in the mood'; a lesson on the intro/solo would be good. Any chance, could you (or anyone reading this) tell me how you have the amp/effects set - that's the sound i'm trying to get. Not been playing electric long - but have a zoom G2 so can create a lot of effects, but it's always too distorted/ too clean, or muffled (like a singer with their hand over there mouth). That's the blues sound I seek!
Maybe. I'd probably have to relearn it myself! I haven't been in a guitar mood the past month or so, but if and when the mood strikes me I just might do that.
Thanks for the reply. A close up would be great if you have the time of course. I am a solid rhythm guitarist but am playing more lead - and British blues is a favourite of mine.
Great clip my man one of my favorite electric blues songs of all time. I was looking into gettin a rockerverb 50, when playing the song did you use any effects or is that just straight into the amp? Thanks & great job!!!
Cool video! Hell, now I've just got to buy me some sort of LP, maybe some Orange too. Wish I just had more money that I could buy much more stuff... This video just made it for me, now I can go sleeping with smile on my face. Thanks
He comes in shitfaced hammered, 2am, just got dumped, picks up his Les Paul and fires up the Orange... and out comes the bluest true blue. (just kidding, almost)
This is my favorite of your videos, and I fell in love with the RV50... so bad. Now I'm blue. It's 'got me thinkin bout my life'
dose any one else get goose bumps every single time they hear this.

That's lovely. You're capturing his vibe pretty well. Did you use the live version from at the Boston Tea Party as inspiration?

I wish I had more talent than money. I've got some beautiful guitars and I still can't play them properly. One day, One day.

I was wondering if you knew bout the fx loop... does the reverb go through the loop? or is the reverb added after the loop?
Eventual421 4 years ago
Well I'm using the Amp's reverb, so I would think it bypasses the FX loop.
