Right, I am getting sick of people saying that glee 'ruins songs.' Glee doesn't ruin anything, they just take a song and preform it in their own way. Can you honestly say that because you have listened to a Glee version of a song that you can never listen to the original version in the same way?

I'm not saying that everyone has to like Glee nor that Glee always beats the originals, what i'm saying is they don't ruin a song, you either like it or you don't.

@asdfghjkl9590 Christina is the worst, ask any vocal expert. She tends to force the higher chest notes, causing her voice to sound coarse and pulled. Although able to sing in the whistle register they tend be labored and require a vocal run to access. She needs to learn how to control her voice.

Rachel's gets most of the solos because she IS THAT GOOD. I do agree that the other girls and even guys should get more solos but Rachel's voice is versatile, while most of the others' have only one style. I do like the TroubleTones tho b/c im in love with Mercedes/Santana duets. :)

Prime example, Look at Rachel's attempt to cover or Adele Rolling in the Deep (or to be more specific John's legends cover of Adele but w.e.) and Santana's cover of Someone like you. Rachel's voice certainly did not do that song justice, while Santana's cover is outstanding. With that being said, I think Santana has the most versatile voice. But I also think Mercedes undoubtedly has the best voice out of everyone.

I feel bad for Mr. Shue, he worked so hard for the glee club to work, and Mercedes, and Santayana leave just because they didn't get enough solos for their taste. Rachael deserves her solos she works the hardest, pushes her voice and wrote most of their songs.
