Yes, I agree there is truly nothing to move us. All the NOW Gospel is sounding like the worlds' music. It sounds and feels that your at some club or something. Music like Ms. Mahaila Jackson is something that cannot be replicated in todays standards.
@eboniequen11 I think todays gospel is lame because its not heartfelt. People try to scream and shout or do runs just because people wanna hear it. With this woman every single not low to high run or not is heartfelt and incredible. To be fair to some of todays gospel singers tho some of them didnt grow up listening to the good stuff....like this. I forget the name but theres an organist from this Hammond B3 book I got that said blues and gospel are just different lyrics. We learn blues on sun.
