  • do you know how fast these will go out of box? Thinking of getting one for my nine year old son. What do you think?

  • slash is a great truck, 25 to 30 with stock gearing and a lot of room,.

  • 25 - 30 yeah

  • DAMN YOU OZZY OSBORNE!!!!

  • is that stock hight???

  • dude that looks nice haha

  • wow that was the gayest spider butterfly thing wow u are gay

  • idk how but you made that thing look sooo good!

  • nice paint

  • I have been using the Pro-line Switch Bead lock tires for a month. They continue to pop out of the bead lock. Every time I bash around, I have to reset the beads on the tires. The Slash throws enough force to the rims, that I am going back to glued tires.

  • You can actually use glue on the bead lock rims and tires. I've read that it is recommended to glue your bead locks for most fast cars, only like rock crawlers don't really need to glue them. So instead of scrapping the wheels completely, try a few drops of glue with the bead locks and see how it works.

  • and btw, awesome paintjob :)

  • ive been using axial rockstar beadlocks on my slash they hold up alot better than the epic failures. axials wheels also give a wider stance. they fit perfectly. can actually turn at higher speeds on pavement without flipping or breaking the bead. i use 11.1v with vxl and hpi geolander tires. just for kicks i tried proline flat iron crawler tires and held up as well but they rub the body

  • The proline switch tires on this Slash do not. They have a bead lock that is sandwiched between the wheels. I have had part of the inner tire pop out of the bead lock with extreme landings. Loosen the screws, reset and then tighten back in - 5 minutes at most.

  • You should try the new v2 rims they hold tighter and stop that from happening!

  • Oh forgot to ask, are those the stock tires that come with it and what upgrades do you have? Those slashes are bad a**, I saw one vid of a dude driving it through his pool and out again multiple times. Good editing too. 5/5

  • Tires are Pro-line Switch Bead Lock. About $40/pair. Great traction and drifting through dirt corners. Only upgrades are aluminum caps for the shocks, so far. Working on light bar for this body.

Friend has done everything: Brushless 10.5 motor with LiPo batteries and aluminum parts. He is crazy fast and racing at S&N Trackside - fun to watch.

  • Agreed - removed and much better. Now I want to upgrade to red aluminum parts to be seen through the windows...

  • Nice body, are those window stickers? You should take them off so you have clear windows, check out my rusty to see what they would look like
