My claims about you tailgating were based on the fact that you had a two second follow distance on the black truck that was in the slow lane then a 1 second following distance on the white car which increased to a whole TWO seconds of following distance. Minimum safe distance is 4 seconds and you were filming while driving. Disregarding that this is illegal in itself you should have had at least a 6 second following distance. You were almost as reckless as they were.

We have a huge 15-passenger van. I actually have fun when small cars tail me like that. All it takes is a brake check and their heartrate triples, since the rear bumper is right above bumper height for little cars (not to mention the van weighs 7,200 lbs. empty).

That bridge is at the western most section of LA....I think it goes on for 12 miles or so and there is no place for the cops to park on it. You can easily go 90 mph the entire way. The red car should have just let him by. There is LA state patrol running a speed trap as soon as the bridge ends if you are going east on I-10.

The idiot rode his ass. If they hit, only the one who was causing the real problems would be in trouble. Some people just can't understand that if someone's following at an unsafe distance, you're only doing yourself a favor by slowing down. That way if they do hit, the impact isn't as hard.

We have a huge 15-passenger van. I actually have fun when small cars tail me like that. All it takes is a brake check and their heartrate triples, since the rear bumper is right above bumper height for little cars (not to mention the van weighs 7,200 lbs. empty).

Ok, normally I'd be pissed off at that red car but that truck was tailing the hell out of it! If assholes (especially redneck truck driving testosterone filled retards) come rolling behind me really fast on the interstate, I take my time getting over. I don't do what they did and go the exact same speed as the person next to me, but I don't make any attempt to get over. BTW I live in Louisiana too, you don't wanna get road rage here... because it's legal to carry a loaded firearm in your car!

@AnAscendingAngel if you don't want to get tailgated get outta the PASSING lane. Technically the only time you should be in the left lane is if you are going to pass. So I can't stand it either when people just cruise in the left lane, oblivious to whats behind them. And in NC it's illegal to "just be" in the passing lane, but never enforced.

Well, unless I see somebody come from behind me and attempt to get directly in front of me, cutting me off, while I'm going the same speed as the traffic in front of me. In my experience, truck drivers usually tail the hell out of people even if they don't have the opportunity to get over. If the red car was being a lil old lady and making a scenic trip in the left lane, though, then I feel everybodies pain.

That bridge is at the western most section of LA....I think it goes on for 12 miles or so and there is no place for the cops to park on it. You can easily go 90 mph the entire way. The red car should have just let him by. There is LA state patrol running a speed trap as soon as the bridge ends if you are going east on I-10.

Asshole in the mini is to blame here. You don't go the same speed as the right lane with a line of cars behind you. Slower traffic keep left. They used to issue tickets for riding in left lane.........wish they still did.

The video doesn't show how the rage even started, so we really don't know who initiated the fault of who ticked off who. The person who got ticked off first should of let it go instead of giving in! The mini should of moved over into the slow lane to let the pickup to pass. Tailgaiting, passing around the Mini using the slow lane, not signaling while changing lanes TWICE and throwing something is against the law. Obviously they're both at fault which is why they were both issued ticket's. Good!

It always makes for a good video when you get 2 aggressive drivers within close proximity of each other. The truck wants to go faster than the mini and gets pissed off that he can't get around. The mini, pissed off that the truck is tailgating them, tries to teach them a lesson by maintaining their speed or slowing down to prevent the truck from passing.
I'm glad they were both issued tickets.
