She is simply saving the world with the type of power you would usually find in a shonen ("directed to boys' anime) Quite original. ;)
Unlike most magical girls that defeat their enemies with rainbow sparkles, Nanoha uses the magic of her heart to befriend her enemies. That's what's so great and original about this anime. They take hero vs villain to a new level.
I love the 1st and 2nd season of MGLN but in strikers u hardly see nanoha and yunno especially (my fav char is yunno) i can watch the 1st and 2nd season a ton of times but not so much on 3rd... i was looking forward to it (up to around ep 14 in 3rd season)

@thegambitking actually, it is aimed at a female audience, it just has elements of Shonen animes. Shonen animes usually consist of forever battle and action without the typical girly romance and typical love and beauty power. But this show is under the genre of "shoujo" which means directed to young girls.

well, cardcaptor sakura came out first before magical girl nanoha. so magical girl nanoha copied cardcaptor sakura with the circle thing, the scepter, the winged shoes and mostly, the title.
I'm not blaming anyone, I also like magical girl nanoha. im just saying to inform all of u.

So, I guess King of Fighters '94 copied Street Fighter since they're both fighting games right? Because SF came first and KoF came out later.
I guess Halo copied Counter Strike right? Because you know, CS came first and Halo came out after and they're both shooting games.

So I guess KoF copied SF because if I use Ryo or Robert in KoF, it's like I'm really using Ryu or Ken from SF! I can do 2-in-1's in KoF... JUST LIKE SF!!! The fact that specials require a certain input (i.e. qc's, hc's or charging) in KoF must mean it copied SF because SF had it first! They both have the word "Fighter" in them! Omg, SF came first though! KoF MUST be copying it.

please, i was just informing some of you guys. i was not giving a shit out of magical girl nanoha because i LOVE magical girl nanoha and i am not blaming anybody of you because this anime is SO awesome. I am trying to love it because i hated it before. so your all lucky because i have a chance to love it. i know you call me a retard and all those stuff but i understand that it is not the real you. you are good and warm hearted in the inside.

It's Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha . About the story , it's very hard to explain , you have to watch it yourself . I think it has about 13 episodes ^^

In fact, I only watched the series because I loved the intro song, you see, I'm really NOT into 0815-Magical Girls' stuff (especially not when it involves awful German speaking staffs LOL), but that intro got me sorta "hyped".
