probably an easier way to get the anodising off would be to use oven cleaner? as this doesnt leave an uneven finish or any score marks like sand paper would? apart from that doesnt look too bad :)

anodizing isnt hard. you can get the same effect for about twice the price you spent on your paint. i got the same paint for 1.95 on clearance. bought 8 cans. you really need to prime all of our parts first though. good noob vid though.
