that's surely a rankine engine( not fully a rankine but likely to be that way) and I'm wondering where is the exhaust tube for vapor comes out...after it enters the mini turbine?
This video is brilliant wonder where did you purchased the miniature generator?and all other things, exactly what picture on my mind to save the heat loss. That what I need for my projects,do appreciated if you could direct me to the seller.
This model was made by Karsten Gintschel, in Germany. I bought it from an engineer, in Los Angeles, who had tweaked it up a bit. Good luck, finding one like it.
Great ! I like it and i like everything what makes steam and everything pushed or rotated by steam. Your generator gives more light than the flame you use to make steam Good job.
Man, that sounds like it Could power a house

you could focus a parabolic reflector or a fresnel mirror onto the boiler then you would not need to waste natural gas.

I am on my way to the garage to make a steam turbine flashlight
no joke!
EthanTheExplorer 2 years ago 2
Maybe you can save the steam, why dot´t you make a close circuit?, condensated it, and with a pump electric pump, re heated it again in the boiler.
CASINTRA 2 years ago
Shouldn't even need a pump if you plumb it correctly.

It's difficult to capture the sound of them properly isn't it?
duncandumpertruck 3 years ago
Certainly, once the pitch of the turbine gets high enough, the camera cannot properly record it.
