  • I saw the show yesterday... It was just absolutely amazing! If you have a chance to see it in March, GO!!

  • I cried. Such an emotional story. And their singing!!!

  • just saw it in theatres today and it was FREAKING GOOD!!!!

  • March the 12th. I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!

  • Don't really care but would love to see Gerard butler do this. Would make my day.

  • KILL IT!!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't understand why people are so against the 2004 movie cast doing this. I thought they did an amazing job. I'd love to see them do a version of Love Never Dies.

  • This looks stunning! I cannot wait to see it!! SO EXCITED:)

  • @ejansen09 seen it many times love it...its out the dvd

  • Preferred the London Cast.

  • The plot is hilariously stupid.

  • i just watched this and i loved it. Awesome performance. Simply amazing. Blew my mind

  • Which song from the score is playing in the trailer?

  • @austindolphin29 Intro to "Beneath a Moonless Sky"

  • paint never dries

  • Oh God! People want the 2004 movie cast to do a version? No, no, no, no, no, no, nooooo!

  • Not to hate on the Australian cast, but I feel like RUG really missed out on not using members of the Original London Cast considering that Ramin, Sierra, and Liz were in the 25th Anniversary DVD. I'm sure they had their reasons for using the Australian cast, but I feel like it would have been a nice continuity thing.

  • @Rosemel92 True but did you see this. Its awesome. I loved it.

  • if this came to america....i will die of happiness.

  • i watched it yesterday! lovely singing and staging! acting was alright though

  • Finaly!!!! I want it so bad!!!

  • want...

  • Yahoo news brought me here! I'm glad it did!

  • I hope the cast from the 2004 Version choose to do the follow up. Gerald Butler and all them.

  • @Micahat2 OH GOD NO. ANYONE BUT THEM.

  • @Micahat2, me too. The Phantom Of The Opera was an excellent movie. As soon as the chandelier began to rise up and the Overture began playing, I thought, "I'm in for one hell of a ride." And it was thrilling. The stage show is also spectacular, and I'm looking forward to seeing the sequel, Love Never Dies.

  • what stores and movie theaters will this be in i cant wait.

  • @wingman259 Google fathom events. When you get to the ncm fathom website, you'll see Love Never Dies listed in the event finder. Click on the buy tickets button and then enter your zip code. You'll get a list of movie theaters that are showing the film. Enjoy!

  • will it be in stores?

  • @wingman259 depends what country your in, if australian then yes.

  • must.have.now.

  • I wan't see that movie!!!

  • Toobad it's not the London cast. They really did it for me. Why was that cast so short lived??? ;(

  • @houtblazer becuase everything else about this show (plot, staging, design, direction) did not quite do it. even though the cast were amazing, the other elements need to work to.

  • :(( can there be a dvd for the london production please...

  • We have to wait till May? Oh... I Want it now! or at the very least the opportunity to see it in cinemas like this trailer seems to imply!

  • @Melodyoflegends its supposed to have a screening in cinemas on feb 28 and march 7 in the u.s.

  • @Jonnyriffic

I wouldn't be so sure about that- ALW recently announced that due to the success of the Australian productions, that production design will probably first tour the USA and then move to Broadway.

  • In Theater February 28th and March 7th!

  • I am gutted that it has ended in England and that Ramin is not going to be the phantom but Andrew has said the staging is better in this version ... I liked the first version of the musical best (without til I hear you sing being first) but I do like both (I saw it many times I. London) :) can't wait forth DVD :D

  • Pretty Cool!

  • Omg I cannot wait...

  • Oh hell yah I don't care how much it is I an buying this

  • @TheLilScarab It depends on what country you're in. For the u.s., the dvd will be about $20,but it doesn't get released until may 29.

  • YES!!! just a few days after my birthday

  • I bought tickets last night!!!! Can't Wait, I saw Phantom of the Opera a few years ago when it was out in Australia, so keen to see the sequel! <3

  • FINALLY! a DVD version...now i don't have to go to England to watch the musical there...but i'm still once going to do it, i really can't wait

  • this dvd of love never dies the australia version is going to come out everywere in america too...in feb.8 2012

  • cant wait it comes in march in the uk deffernatly getting this

  • i love Love Never Dies but only because of the London cast..Sierra WAS Christine and I find the new Christine really annoying.

  • What's wrong with the original company?

  • While I can't wait for this,I honestly think the filming should off been with the London original cast but guess we'll wait and see.

  • @PhoebeHalliwell1991 the melbourne cast was shot, because it was generally more well received than the original london production. It had quite a few dramatic changes to the original production.

  • @suchasoftersin13 What sort of changes are you talking about? Apart from those of set and costume design

  • @Marselenok From what I was told, the opening is entirely different. I believe, from last I heard, they begin with Phantom's "Till I hear you sing" as he sits at the piano with Christine's portrait overhead. I think it wasn't the BEST movie, but I've yet to see the transactions.

  • @omegacadenza10 I was skeptical about "TIll I Hear You Sing" being the absolute first thing to open the show. But...it actually worked out well; It really sets the pace and tone of the entire show. It also made way for the title song "Love Never Dies" in Act 2 to became the true show stopper and iconic moment of this production. So it really builds up to it right from the get go!

    :)

  • @Marselenok I know for sure that there were changes made to Dr. Gangle, Fleck and Squelch. But past that it could be any number of things.

  • While I am super mad it wont be Ramin I am SUPER thrilled I'll be able to see it!!! MUST HAVE IT NOW!!

  • Why do I have to wait for this another month!? TORTURE!

  • I preorderd this 1 to 2 days ago MWAHAHAHAHAAAAA. I have been a fan of the phantom of the opera since I was five years old.

  • must haaavvee!!!

  • The DVD will be on Feb 8th.. and the cinema?

  • I can't wait for the DVD to come out, but I'd rather watch it live!

  • @wordluer135 i saw it live in London just a few weeks before it closed. It was AMAZING

  • Ok, bring Love Never Dies back to London. Same cast, this production. It'd be PERFECT.

  • OH MY GOSH! I HAVE TO HAVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I. CAN'T. WAIT. :)

  • people need to stop wishing it was ramin and sierra becuase I have seen both versions and can honestly say that the australian phantom and christine had so much talent and almost more deserved these roles

  • i like it but the phantom of the opera is best than this musical

  • Fancy Andrew Lloyd Webber saying the Aussie Version of Love Never Dis is the best interpretation of any of his works, anywhere! that;s why it's filmed there I guess!

  • Unless the characters act like they originally did (in other words, are IN CHARACTER) as part of the overhaul, I'm saying NO. Some of the music is gorgeous and perfectly evocative of a Coney Island theme park, but a Phantom who seems to always be the last to know, a Meg who's become an annoying "American" fame-hog, a Raoul who is so awful to Christine it makes "All I Ask of You" a lie (which REALLY upset me), etc, it's destroyed the whole thing for me. Even the original is tainted now.

  • I wish it was the original cast :( But it will let me see the show so I'm grateful.

  • I would like so much The Phantom of the Opera theater in official version from DVD

  • @eucasou there's a DVD of POTO its the 25th anniv. special starring sierra and ramin

  • February? I'm physically unable to wait so long! :(

  • Anyone knows if this musical will return to London? I'm from Holland and unfortunately I am not always in London :( (i wish haha) and I missed this musical.. :(

  • So excited for this to come out! Saw it twice in London and loved it, but this production looks much grander. Shame no Ramin or Sierra though...

  • When will this production come to America?

  • @munkustrap4r

"The official trailer for the Love Never Dies DVD, featuring the 2011 Australian cast of the show. Love Never Dies will be released on global BLU-RAY™ and DVD internationally on 8th February 2012."

  • @munkustrap4r You're not getting it in America because you people whined too much about not having Ramin in this version. So you get NOTHING!

    haha jk

  • @munkustrap4r Feb.

  • @dylantiger2 My country won't release the DVD and Blu-Ray until May 29th.

  • @munkustrap4r it won't. thank god.

  • @munkustrap4r There are still no plans for it to hit Broadway :/

  • @munkustrap4r I doubt a Broadway production will be likely, even if the Australian production is faring better than the London production did in terms of reviews from critics and fans alike. :(

  • @munkustrap4r for Canada and America we get it on March 24th. :D i'm sooo pumped

  • Awesome! Australian cast, though? Where is Ramin??

  • too bad sierra and ramin aren't doing it, since they are already doing the 25th anniversary DVD they may as well continue the story with the same actors

  • I am SO adding this to my collection of Musicals

  • OMB, I WANT. :O

  • Shame, I would have love to see Ramin and Sierra do it, you know, to complete the set :/

  • Really?? Wow and I've not seen number one yet!!

  • This will be the perfect Valentine's Day present...

  • I really Wish I had a recording of the London Version. I loved the sets. And the cast!

  • Can't wait! Its a shame it didn't do well on Broadway. Suppose this means no US tour? :(

  • @alexianmartin: You've made a mistake, it's never been on Broadway.

  • @BL5965 =( i know =(

  • cant wait but i wish it was the london one on dvd :)

  • looks super crappy but i can't wait to see it ha ha!

  • I NEEED IT ORDER TOOO LIVEE !!!!

  • GOT TO HAVE NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!
