I am just getting into lapidary work. I need to figure out how to attach hooks to the rounded stones so I can sell them or give them away as necklaces. Right now they are just smoothed stones.
You can buy findings that hold your stones from any gem shop, some just need to be pressed around the stone if you have a standard sized cabochon, or you can buy bails that can be epoxy glued to the back of your stones, I would recommend you join a lapidary club to get the most out of the hobby, good luck!

That stone is man made, it comes in a variety of colours and is called goldstone.
