It's really really easy.

I can do it in under a second, less than 0.9 on a good day... it just takes practice.

O.O I need to practice more...I got it lucky because my hands were sweating (cold night, wierd) and I just finished the next 2 moves after you flip the thing over...I always have trouble at the second to last move(last move is "setting" the magic down) Well..it slipped. Yup, just like that...and it landed perfectly, all 3 rings facing up...on the ground -.-

It's funny that you said .89 because there's an official 0.88 solve right next to this.

I dont' have a webcam or even a camera but

my best official is 1.03, average of 5: 1.12.

The last tile is always the hardest in the beginning. For me now, it's just either DNF (the end result happens to be 3 layers) or solved. I suggest just practicing.

It might help if your motion is more fluid. Right now it seems like you have a lot of stops in the middle. After 1.50 seconds, it's just practice. It's really easy to improve so keep on trying.

The whole idea of the Rubik's Magic is to get the three rings on the magic linked, and then back again... I'll post a video on how to do it easily.
