Actually Hartnell didn't start the fight. He wasn't the one to start the shoving. And Ferrence got his gloves off before Hartnell did and Hartnell was falling back. And seriously, give up the visor stuff. If Ferrence has a problem with fighting a guy with a visor then he wouldn't have dropped his gloves.

Thats true, it appears Ference wanted the fight more than Hartnell. And who can blame him? It takes a player of remarkable self-restraint NOT to want to tear Hartnell limb from limb. But it it also true that Hartnell turtles when in dangerous situations. Last Flyers Bruins meeting, Chara punched Hartnell square in the face and Hartnell went down immediately, i suspect it was from fear of fighting Chara as opposed to actually being injured.

I realize that almost everyone who isn't a Flyers fan hates Hartnell, but if he played for your team, you'd love him.

As for the Chara play, I remember it, but the never showed what actually happened. Maybe he flopped, maybe he didn't. But you can't call him a turtler based only on that.....one point does not make a trend.
