For luck. Shining trivia. Because Danny Lloyd was so young and since it was his first acting job, Stanley Kubrick was highly protective of the child. During the shooting of the movie, Lloyd was under the impression that the film he was making was a drama, not a horror movie. He only realized the truth seven years later, when, aged 13, he was shown a heavily edited version of the film. He didn't see the uncut version of the film until he was 17 - eleven years after he'd made it.

I looked at this video because a mythbusters myth from lethal weapon 2 that a surfboard can be launched from a car and shoot into someones windscreen and kill them was done. But on mythbusters they used a smaller surfboard with a curled nose which cause it to veer down when shot through the air. I though they were pretty smart but that myth made them look rediculously special.

I love all the Lethal Weapons. Even for as kick-ass as they are, there's one thing about this scene I can never help being pissed off at- They trash a perfectly good Honda! you mean to tell me they couldn't find a Chevette or something to fuck up?

Other than that, the 'Weapon's all kick ass!
