  • Using this gun is possibly the funnest and Interesting Marker ive used :) When an opponent see's you Slipping inbetween cover And drawing its quite a frightning thing and ive had alot of feedback from them after games :D Dont knock it till youve tried it guys!

  • why waste your money on this? get a pump!

    same accuracy (if not better)

more mobility and just the ease of use.. pull a pump 4 inches or pull a bow a foot...

  • @devschwick It's not practical. It's just for the fun of it

  • I just wanna go there and blast everyone away with my NT...lol

  • what velocity do they shoot at and is it adjustable

  • @polishboy42 you would have to adjust the poundage on the bow i have one but use my hunting bow so thats 70 lbs and it is at 295-297

  • "I took it in the earhole!" lmao

  • are these more accurate than pump guns or is the bow just for looks ?

  • @paintballftw69 no gun is more accuraste then any other

  • hey bowtech, is needed something to get a better balance at the time to shot , the bow is precise , but the shot have a little tendency to follow the torsional moment.

  • @jorgeprodriguez As an experienced archer(and a practiced sniper in both Airsoft and Paintball), I would say that your best bet would be to either compensate for the torque with the bow by winding the shot a little, or strengthening up your holding arm a little more. You could also be plucking the string when you loose the driveshaft. That can cause some problems.

  • @Shaydemohr hey man thanks a lot , that was very informative, but the bow still needed a few fixes .

  • if i had one i would walk the triger on that all day

    jk

  • does this count as stock class pump?

  • oh no star wars nerds gone wild

  • That looks like an absolute blast

  • notice that the average weight is above 2 teams in 1

  • Sucks that you have to cock each ball before pulling back :P would be much better if you didn't:P but fuckin amazing idea, could easily see hopper on it woul be piss to do, I got a mental crossbow, might try convert it lol

  • SPEEDBALL TIME!

  • Might have to take up paintball just cos of this.... break out the Rambo Head band.

  • Can you put a hopper on the bows? (Just curious)

  • @DiRivalX I have seen a picture on Google Image of one with a hopper on, don't know if it was a easy mod though

  • @DiRivalX

just put one on. like any other paintball hopper

  • "I took it in the ear hole."

  • @Wh0sTh1s

    Thats what she said, OH!

  • these fools look like janitors lol...how bout green or brown jump suits

  • It would be SUPER fun if everybody had a airow gun.

  • racists!

  • These things look sick!

  • lol get a paintball gun

  • A couple questions for the video poster:

    1) When a paintball is chambered, what keeps the ball from rolling out?

    2) Can this be/has this been mounted on a crossbow?

Thanks, looking forward to trying one of these

  • its like medivel longobows but in modern time with airow long bow paint bow gun???

  • This looks fun. I'd try it.

  • this is what robin hood wanted so he can play with his friends without killing them

  • is it possible to single load paintballs, like the First strike round

  • They were amazing with snipering. Cause they can barely hear it. Im really good with one of those in the urban warzone. but they were amazing at the forest. do they have sight attachments for them?

  • I'm pretty sure the airow gun is an ATTACHMENT to go on bows... if so, is it possible to mount it on a longbow? Everywhere i look they're on little composite bows.

  • @ThePaintballGamer I've been wondering the same thing. I love my recurve and don't have a compound bow to try this with. So if it could be mounted on a stick bow that would be quite helpful

  • Lol 1:55

  • you should play with like, paintball swords too. that'd be some mid-evil badassness right there.

  • Totally Cammod

  • hi. how far that balls are accurate with a 300fps bow, how much joule it produces?

  • dude that looks like fun

  • you guys look like the NA'VI people running around

  • makes run-thrus a bit more interesting i guess

  • Are these things actually hard to pull back like a real bow ? or..realy easy to use?

  • do those shoot airows or paintballs

  • ..............

  • @gmailawsome both of them, the bow its just a regular bow, the cannon is de-attachable

  • 1:41 nice stealth =P

  • The bow is only gonna be as accurate as the archer. So in this case, unless poorly calibrated, they should be pretty bang on.

  • Are these things Accurate?

  • haha the camera guys are in the trees... i would want to be up there to lol

  • off topic but the tree @ 0:55 is huge lol

  • How much does one of these bows cost man cause i am considering getting one i just need to know how much one of them are.

  • The Airow gun attachment is like $200 if you already have your own bow, or they sell it already on the bow for $400.

  • that would be fun but whats up with the frickin blue jumpsuits

  • so they don't get their clothes underneath dirty

  • MEDEVIL PAINT BALL LMFAO

  • I think the only guy that made sence was the dude at the end with a Co2 powered paintball.....

  • Do those airow guns even hurt??

  • they can kill small game ...

  • no they can't, they shoot paintballs at the same velocity has regular paintball guns, can't kill anything with these.

  • yeah they can .... iv killed rabbits and birds and shit like that with both a paintball and a paintballbo0w thing ...

  • they fire at the same velocity as a regular marker, so yes. They're just very quiet because of the mechanism.

  • bad ass! like medivl times

  • the only plus side to this thing is that you probably save paint.

  • Ummm... and you don't need ANY air or C02... not to mention, they tend out outrange even my tippy with a flatline >.>

I was inspired when I got to use one in person. And they're quiet as hell compare to a regular gun... at scenario games, they're amazing for a good flank!

  • and it's quiet, and you get ripped (if you don't die of exhaustion first).

  • @scr1be and you look freakin bas ass!

  • @scr1be and its probably fun to use if everyone else is too

  • dude i would just run through thare with a friggen ego and just do work lol

  • hehe, i prefer gun ;)

  • can you imagine if someone had a ego in this lol

  • taht would b the funniest shit ever

  • wouldent it be tho lol

  • ahaha thats exactly what's in my mind

  • that kicks ass!!!!

  • its like natives vs natives

  • Does this attachment affect the bow negatively in any way?

  • and i thought a pump gun or pistol was crazy, you guys are nuts!

  • "Jeremy how doe it feel to get beat by an Airow gun?..."

    *POP!* *POP!* *POP!*

    "OOOOOOOh!"

    Best part.

  • suddenly i understand why these things are a dud.

  • john rambo wud kick all of your ass`s

  • Did the arrow gun team win or the real gun team?

  • Do you have to put one ball in at a time or do you just keep on pulling it back?

  • the way i understand it is there is a lever that you pull and it drops a paintball down. then you pull back and fire, so you have to remember to pull that lever every time.

  • not very smart to shoot him at pointblank

  • that would actually be fun

  • were can i buy one?

  • looks like e-walks in star wars

  • O shit those are awesome! No CO2, looks lightweight, god damn I have to try one! How much do they usually cost?

  • those are cool, but id still rather go with my tippy.

But i would like to see how someone like this does on a big tourney. so someone get a helmet cam, and use this gun. because its pretty interesting.

  • Uh huh. That's why my boss bunkered two guys in a crater at this last D-day. Its interesting that you put this video in your favorites as well. I'm assuming you're just waiting to reply with another snide comment. You know what they say though, any publicity is good publicity.

PS-Thanks for refraining from cussing. You're still getting a big fat thumbs down though.

  • think about it dude, its a completely different style of play. who would play bows vs pmrs? and pmrs suck

  • PMR's suck? Wow kid you obviously have no clue as to what your talking about.

Back to the main point, neat guns but I dont see you guys competing with the tippmann/bt4 crowds.

  • they are a poser dm. sucky ass guns

  • poser DM? Are you for real? It uses some of the same parts as a DM. Hyper 2/3 Inline reg, best on the market. UL trigger frame (if you got one) almost the same damn board and programming. Capable of 30+ bps at 1/2 to cost of a DM. how in gods name is that a sucky gun? You obviiously don't own one or have never used one as you opinion is biased and well for lack of a better word shit. Read the reviews on a PMR. Not one bad one out there. Rapes all SP guns. (minus the shocker)

  • Really? The first production models had nothing but electrical / solenoid problems. How do I know? The 3 that I've personally seen / shot all had problems out of the box. Sure Dye fixed them all and they shot great. I like that they are a Matrix without a LPR (easier to tune) but the lack of LPR keep it out of the upper level. Now that they come with UL frames and all metal parts (about time they done away with plastics) I'm impressed.

  • Those plastic parts are extremely strong, and I have never once seen anyone break any of the composite parts on a matrix gun. Its a low end gun, so an LPR for the most part isn't needed. Every single one I have shot (I own 2 of em as well) out of the box has worked 100% flawless, and I bought my first on the very first day of sales in Canada. They just chew through o-rings like they're candy, thats my only complaint.

  • In what way does this not compete? I'm asking honestly and not trying to be condescending.

  • I didn't mean in a "performance sense" I meant it in a sales sense. This is a niche item for paintball players whose player base as it sits is relatively small. Not to mention the entry costs for other guns tippmann's BT4's SP etc allow people to start playing for less. I understand it isn't marketed towards noobies, which makes your sales base even smaller. I wish you guys the best of luck I just don't understand from a practical sense how this could ever succeed in paintball.

  • it was first designed for bow hunters to target practice for cheap on the off season its was never really intended to be a serious marker in paint ball

  • It is now....adds al over that it shoots farther and faster than any marker..

  • it only shoots farther than other markers because it is at a higher velocity (faster) but fields will limit your velocity to 260-275 with all the other guns so it wont shoot farther. don't get me wrong i think these things are awesome and i want one and they are one of the most accurate markers on the market but i would not use it in a game.

  • Now that makes sense! Didn't know that.

  • LOL its kinda like lord of the rings.

these are so cool. i played a guy with one and he was just sniping

  • Comment removed

  • Have you even seen these in person? Have you even shot a bow? Do you just troll the internet and spout off the first thing that comes to mind?

  • dude this looks pointless other than u can say u have one youd never use it other than on targets

  • *pulls out paint ball gun* and pwns em all

  • tthat pretty sweet and all but u gott take the glare off it its high noticiable if its gleeming in the sun lol xD i ushally play at night right befor the sun goes down its funny as hell

  • Sorry. Removed the last response due to language. You can post what you want about Bowtech but please refrain from cussing.

  • 2:08 was the best.

  • that was hilarious i was laughing so hard

  • i so want to get my tree stand in there and just pick people of.......till they start shooting my tree!! LOL

  • alright I have seen some "claims" to flater shots Via the arrow gun.. While this could be true, as it does "Push" the ball constantly out the barrel much in the same way a "Cocker / Snyper 2" or "Phantom" then it could possibly work. And if it does work that well, then YES it would shoot flater then the Invert Mini or the DM9 or Ego or any other open bold electro pnumatic out there. There is a reason why pumps shoot more accurately, and its because they are closed bolt. That makes this the same.

  • man u have to be so skilled to use this and have it work effectivly, this is more hardcore then pump lol

  • yeah

  • funny at the end

  • these things wouldnt be good for speed but would be ok for woods

  • This would be much more interesting if u use regular arrows with broadhead tips. o.O

  • if you have a better range and better acuracy u do not need speed , it does help though

  • ur a doofy , you get a much longer range and ur more acurate

  • Sick

  • That is awesome. I like that.

  • lmao all it will take is my invert mini to light up all of them

  • mini's are garbage

  • give me an arrow gun or a cci phantom with only 1 shot in it and ur mini is useless

  • Wow what a juvenile comment. Apparently you didn't watch the D-day video or read what has been said about the Airow Gun. Oh well. To each their own. I hope that you are on the wrong end of this as well.

  • the one that discourages my from buying it is its a 50lb pull string kinda hard to run and shoot plus your arm would get tired after the first few games... other than that i would get one and have 2 tiberius pistols as back up

  • The Edge and Cutter can be adjusted down to 40lbs. While this does lower the fps a bit, it would allow you to build up endurance to it. Then you can crank the limbs back up to 50lbs.

  • only hard to pull if your a pussy :O lift some weights

  • yo thos are sick i would like to buy 1 maybe were can i find them stores and websites?

  • if u live in canada go to tacticalpaintball(dot)ca

  • its really quiet but when ur playing in blue jumpsuits it kinda ruins it

  • Here's my latest concern. According to most paintball sites, the only difference between the "Edge" and "Cutter" is the color of the riser. However, according to Diamond, the differences include maximum draw length and width.

Which is correct in the paintball context?

  • by "width", I meant "weight"

  • The difference really is the color. The Cutter has a black riser and the limbs have a carbon fiber print. The Edge is in all realtree. Both are capable of a 40-50lbs draw weight and we maximized the velocity by giving it a 28" draw length. Hope that helps.

PS Just checked out the Diamond Bow site and I see what you mean. They are recently changing product lines.

  • HAHA! this is bad ass... anyone want to buy my tippman A5

  • very very very cool never seen this this is cool i want 1

  • nice demo for bow tech paintball =)

  • This looks so interesting, I'm almost on the verge of selling all my speedball gear and picking one of these up instead of a stock class gun.

How's the trajectory, can we expect the same kind of drop off after a certain range, like typical paintball markers?

  • Hmmm....I did type a response but it never showed up.

Anyways, the trajectory is a lot more straight. I found I didn't have to point up as much to compensate. Do to the 'push' physics (ie high volume low pressure push vs low volume high pressure which smacks the paintball and distorts it) it also shoots further. The current edge and cutter packages can shoot a paintball around 270-280 fps. On a hight poundage bow with a longer draw can make it shoot faster.

  • So you're saying you've made something that shoots flatter and more accurately than a $1700 paintball gun at the same speed? Very big claim, gravity is gravity unless you're putting backspin on. Someone independent should test that. If this is more accurate I'd expect it to be because of the more stable firing platform. Don't get me wrong I want to buy an airowgun, they look sweet, but those are some huge claims.

  • I misspoke a little. You will gain accuracy and distance. This can be perceived as using a flatter trajectory as you don't have to tip the Airow Gun up to gain this distance like other markers. Yes gravity will pull the paintballs down at the same rate so the rounds will hit the ground at the same time if fired from the same height and trajectory, however the Airow Gun shoots further. Why? When a paintball is fired from a normal marker it is propelled by a low volume of air at a high pressure.

  • This high pressure pop distorts (ie flattens the backside) a paintball. Now some of the energy that is used to propel the paintball is used to reshape the paintball back to its original shape so it can shoot straight. Now take the Airow Gun that uses a high volume of air at a lower pressure which pushes the round out, distorting it less (this is also why its important to use a barrel that is at least 20" without porting.) Ugh why does YouTube limit the characters in a reply?

  • Now less distortion means the paintball doesn't lose that energy in regaining shape so it can shoot further and more accurately. Now this is just a very simplified version of what goes on. As with every marker, a lot of the accuracy also is dependent on the type of paint used (quality vs budget.) Hopefully this clarifies what I cannot so eloquently explain. Also ask anyone at OK D-day who witnessed the guy in the tower with an Airow Gun. He was shooting further than anyone.

  • Well...further than everyone with the exception of the flatlines, but that, as you said, puts back spin on the paintball and we all should know what that means. But please don't just take my word for it try it out for yourself.

  • hahaha that looks fun i mean im gona stick to my A-5 the bows are your thing but i cant find anyplace thats good for woods balling in Illinois thats around Villa Park,Lambard, Or elmhurst if anyones local an dknows a good place that isnt a buisness run field just a field that no one uses message me. Thanks

  • this looks awsome!! im an archer, and i love paintball now all thay need is a good ghilly sute and ill be right in thare!!

  • sikatpb sticks small objects up his ass when no ones looking. Woodsball is awsome!

  • Now now. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and sikatpb has said he'd give it a shot (no pun intended). If everyone can't play nice I will disable comments.

  • like what remix said, this would be usefull with a ghillie suit in some scenario game. its silent and you could snipe people pretty good. The next step up from that would probably be a pump with a silencer on it. Even tho a full game like this does take some of the fun out of the sport, its great for newbies cause its slower paced.

  • yeh but with a bow its neer silant and thares no C02 smoke after each shot that + gilles wold make it a gr8 game

  • If you get good enough at using it, then it would be better than buying a $1000+ Special Ops LongBow gun.

  • if your trying to promote sales with this vid, you better try again. paintball is known for its high intense, fast-paced situation, with either little or no time to react. that is what makes the game so enjoyably, but i got to admit guys, running around like complete retards is not gonna promote sales. Im not saying that I wouldnt buy one of these, i mean its cool as hell, but maybe a review of this gun would be a little better than having a very boring"all out bow war" goodluck with futuresales

  • I'm sorry you have such a negative opinion of our product. I'm guessing you play speedball exclusively? This is how paintball was 20 years ago you know and how a lot of scenario and rec paintball is played today. Also, if you looked at the description of this video, this is a "DEMO" for sales reps who may have never played paintball. If you continue to comment please do so with less negativity or so help me I WILL remove posts.

  • well no. actually i play both speedball and woodsball. but i play with guns.. i thought that this was piece of equiptment was supposed to be target practice for people who are into the sport of archery. but i dont know... it just seems extremely far-fetched for what paintball is supposed to be today.. sorry if my tone sounded angry earlier.. i just wanted to make a point

  • Point taken and understood. The Airow Gun is just really different. It has been well received overseas as paint and air is such an expense. When you don't have to purchase much of either then people are happy. With today's economy and the fact the paintballs will be on the rise, we'll will be seeing this attitude change becoming more prevelant. Already the PSP reduced the ROF because they see the expense that paintball manufacturers are seeing. We admit that this isn't for everybody.

  • Also, ask the guys from d-day for first hand experience. There have been some who used it for the first time and those who have been on the wrong end and loved this thing. I'll admit, I like speedball, I like shooting tons of paint and I didn't see the potential in the Airow Gun. Then I took the thing out and realised its the quality of the shot, not the quantity. And again, no offense taken and yes its not for everyone.

  • i think i am going to buy one just to see what you mean.

  • this is hands down the most pathetic attempt at paintball i have ever seen... i mean where the hell is the excitement in all this.. it is soo slow-paced and their is absolutely no energy in this game at all.... to all buisness men paintballers, try real paintball. this is extremely lame and embarrassing

  • hah 1:42 could of been a cheap shot moment and that looks nice i got a bow always wondered wat it would be like to use it in pb(well minus the arrow part )

  • tru paintball snipers =P

ur finger starts to hurt after awhile tho

  • Finally someone can go rambo on the feild

  • Damn Thats Wicked I Want One Now.

  • "I took it in the ear hole." LMAO

  • are they shooting eachother? it looks like there shooting at somthing
