@Stargreened No its the Blackthorn stick set. there is 2 blackthorn sticks. one's an irish dance (Set Dance) 15 bars Step 15 Bars Set in 6/8 timing , and the other (the one youre thinking of is a jig also used for irish dancing, but not as a set dance

i've seen dancers 10 times better than her and they never won the worlds,get real its a fix,shes a teachers daughter thats why she won.she has improved considering she never even recalled the first few years she danced in the worlds.the competition in the worlds has faded and the scoring changed in the last ten years thats why these wannabees make it to the top aswell.

@MultiMarty25 I don't think that's a very fair judgement--dancing at a performance, or even a normal feis is a completely different atmosphere than World's. She probably wasn't trying as hard, or wasn't in as good as shape as she would be during World's season. And teacher's children don't always win--many times judges who don't like certain teachers will place ALL of their dancers last, no matter how their dancing is. You are correct about the corruption--but your reasoning is illogical.

@MultiMarty25 the reason she has won is simply for the reason as you can see here is that she is pretty much faultless. there is not one time where her feet arnt crossed, her feet arnt turned out our her carriage is bad.

@MultiMarty25 The reason why teachers' daughters and sons win is because they are brought up living and breathing Irish dancing and they have an expert there to correct them their entire life. It is not that there is no political influence in Irish dancing-- there is, but seriously to win that much you have to be amazing. The judges are not the same at every competition and yet they all put her in first place. Blaming politics for results in Irish dancing is like blaming solo dresses.

Her trebles are so turned out, it's insane. And I thought some of teh girls I saw at worlds were good. And her rox are really good, there was absolutely no space. Overall, I would give her first any day of teh week.

@Amtrak1194 Why do u have triples? The Comisiun banned them from competitions in March or something.  I would know because I used to have them in my reel, and my teachers got rid of them.
