  • I'm amazed at how many of these great old American cars have ended up in Europe! Gives lie to what the propagandists would have us believe; that American cars were never appreciated in Europe.

  • My partner and I had a 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood that was completely loaded with just 23,000 miles on it. All original and in great shape. After filling up the 27 gallon gas tank, then being able to watch the fuel gage drop like a leaf while driving it the fun soon faded and it became a garage queen like the rest of these old girls. In some ways I think that they're an embarrassment of human judgement.

  • @nomebear But in 1958 regular grade gas was 28 cents a gallon.

    .

so gas was not a problem.

    .

I've owned a dozen late 50's Cadillacs and there is always something to fix, but that's part of the hobby.

    .

You guys in the LAMBDA club?

  • im about to murder my speakers!!!

  • is a beauty

  • I really Like these old American cars, Magic aren't they ...LOL, use to see them in the UK, But they are just too expensive to run Now I think, even for enthusiasts, it's £1.40 a Litre now, that's £ 6.35 per gallon, or $ 10.18, A Gallon, unbelievable is it not, and we are to see £10.00 a gallon next year.... my Mercedes 190 is gonna have to go...LOL.. strangely Enough there use to be quite a lot of old USA cars in Sweden & Norway, that may have changed too, due to fuel prices.

    Thom in Scotland

  • Classic of course!

  • No No NO!!! The ONLY sound accompanying this video should be the sound of the Cadillac itself!

  • Wow... a lot of trolls on here bashing the loudness of the car and the music! Also, maybe the car is loud but I am sure it is more comfterable than a Japanese car now!! And the car was 50 in the video!!

  • also known as the series 75.

  • [clink, clink, clink] "Warriors...come out to plaa-yaay.."

  • holy shit! it fucking asssome

  • The song should have been " Mystery Train" by Elvis Presley. Try it the song totally fits.

  • It's an airport limo.

  • How much does this car weigh?

  • Approximately 5,100 LBS.

  • beautiful car, and yers cars back then were generally louder than they are now, and i love that rough idle :D

  • Do these cars develop noise problems that new mufflers cannot fix? Surely cars like that were not so loud when new...

  • cars from the 1950's were always loud and there was no fixing the noise problem, they were naturally loud, inside and outside!

  • My guess is that it needs new manifold exhaust pipes. When new, they were not that loud.

  • they should play this music when interrogating al-queda or the taliban...

  • Is this car the same from Randy Quaid's Black Cadillac (2003)?

  • yes, in the movie they call it an eldorado, but they accually filmed it using a Fleetwood series 57 limousine, as you see here. if im not mistaking the eldorado uses the same body lines, but isnt as long and is more of a coupe than a sedan

  • Lovely car poor music

  • That music horrible.

  • hear hear! :P

  • fuck the music lets hear the car sound
