while I agree with the prospect of WW3 being a war on food/natural resources (including natural drinking water). The conflict between Georgia and Russia was not about resources. It was about the Russians using armed force to help Russian-Georgians (living in the northern parts of Georgia) rebel against their government. I think the Russian-Georgians wanted independence or to annex their land back to Russia.
